Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch will keep you busy all day, and leave the kids begging to return. So all aboard for a great day escape! Click through to see what kind of adventures you’ll have at this destination.

Surrey Ride

Ducks and geese and chicks better scurry, when you take them out in your surrey… Can’t help singing songs from Oklahoma!, every time we rent one of these peddle pushers. You can rent single, double or deuce coupe (great, now we’ve got the Beach Boys stuck in our heads) as well as kid sized and tandem bikes by the hour. Awesome extras: helmets are required (and free with rental), teaching kids that Mom’s not the only one who is strict about protecting the noggin, and the surreys have two steering wheels – one that works and one that’s just for kids to play with.

Special note: OC Zoo is also at the park, which can delight kiddos for another couple of hours. Also, the 400+ acre park is designed with kids in mind, with plenty of shady nooks for picnics and mini playgrounds appearing just when little legs get tired of walking.
