Spring break is right around the corner and it’s the perfect opportunity to keep learning outside a classroom, and together as a family. LA is overflowing with activities where those little minds and bodies can work hard, make new connections and—most importantly—have fun. Whether at a new museum exhibit or a crazy parkour class, here are the coolest ways to get out there and enjoy the week “off” with your babes.
Get Zen With Clay
At Bitter Root Pottery you can all find a little zen in digging your hands into clay or focus on a pottery wheel for awhile. Bitter Root offers classes for kids and adults and is offering a special camp for Spring Break for kids 6-12. You can book camp for the entire week or just two or three days (they recommend at least 2 days so your little clay master can complete a project). If you’re more of a drop in kind of person, Bitter Root also offers kids wheel-throwing classes on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with absolutely no experience necessary. And if you have a tiny one in tow, Bitter Root offers classes that will help you create a forever imprint of your babe's hand and footprints. Check their website for more class details.

Bitter Root has two locations: in Beverly Grove and Westfield Village.
