One of the most beautiful spots in the State is right in our backyard, at the Huntington Gardens & Library. It’s got a fabulous (and wet!) kids area, beautiful gardens for strolling through, a tasty tea house, a world-class art collection – in short, it’s a perfect place to spend the day exploring with kids. It’s also not cheap, something parents (with little ones who may tantrum and have to leave at any second) often steer clear of. However, every first Thursday, the Garden is free – you just have to request a ticket in advance. And today’s the day (the first of the month) that you can reserve your tickets for next month’s free day! Reservations are accepted beginning at 9 a.m., and they go fast. Fri. Event details.
