VIP Shelby Tribute
In celebration of Carroll Shelby’s legacy and his contributions to automotive engineering and motorsports in-whole, the Petersen will be hosting an exclusive 2-day event featuring a once-in-a-lifetime panel discussion of legendary drivers, Forza driving competition and live entertainment. The following day, the museum will host one of the largest Shelby cruise-ins in the U.S. with more than 400 Mustangs and Cobras. Sat.-Sun. Event details.

Dino Fest
Rawr! Things are getting Mesozoic at the Zimmer with a Dino Fest! We’ll be opening our Art Room for a slew of dinosaur-inspired activities! We’ll be making “dinosaur bones” to take home, putting together a community dinosaur skeleton, and even cracking open “rocks” to find the “fossils” inside! The Japanese American National Museum (JANM) is presenting its annual Oshogatsu Family Festival. Each tour is led by an expert Eco Station staff member who explains the habits and history of hundreds of rescued exotic animals. The tour also features exhibits on innovative approaches to addressing the challenges facing the environment and offers tips on how to help save the planet through small changes at home and at school.
