Universal CityWalk
The theme park may be closed, but CityWalk is still open for a stroll. Come in the evening to enjoy the bright lights and, for a limited time, grab a Harry Potter-inspired Butterbeer. The non-alcoholic drink combines ice cream and soda for a beverage that’s magical! Fri.-Sun. More details. 

The Drive-In at Santa Monica Airport
It’s a full weekend of kid-friendly flicks at the newest location of Rooftop Cinema’s pop-up drive-in. On Fri., get tickets to see Shrek, followed by Into the Spiderverse on Sat., and The Little Mermaid on Sun. Fri.-Sun. More details.

Hikari: A Festival of Lights
Hikari means shine in Japanese, and this holiday season we have really made Tanaka Farms shine with over a mile of twinkling lights! As you drive through our 30-acre farm, you will be dazzled by farm-themed lighting from trees, to scarecrows, tractors…even the sugarcane got the holiday light treatment. GLOW at South Coast Botanic Garden
It’s your last weekend to stroll through the South Coast Botanic Garden at night. The lush oasis has been transformed into an underwater-like experience, incorporating thousands of colorful lights, that twinkle and change to music. Fri.-SunMore details.

Reflections at Descanso Gardens
Take a moment to reflect at Descanso Gardens, where you can take a self-guided tour of the grounds and art displays for this special event, closing on Jan. 10. Be sure to stop at the stunning and magical Wishing Tree where you can add your own wish to the display. Fri.-SunMore details.

Happy Place Drive-Thru
Yep, it’s the last weekend for this event too, a fun-filled in-your-car experience at Westfield Century City that includes a 30-foot floor piano to drive across. There’s also a Rainbow Road, beach scenes, giant unicorn and more in the 50,000 square foot drive-through experience. Sat. & SunMore details.

Self-Guided Walk at Los Angeles County Arboretum 
Take a self-guided walk through the most spectacular color-changing trees and vines at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden. At any time of the year, you’ll also find a variety of colorful flowers blooming at the Arboretum. Fri.-Sun. More details.
