Four hours of interactive play in an awesome open space including a kid-sized house and ball pit. When your kids aren’t playing, they’ll be engaged in a hands-on craft project or a fun activity designed to get them moving and creating. Plus, the wee ones will eat dinner and if you bring the jammies, they’ll be changed and ready for bed by the time you pick them up. Date night heaven. Plus, they also offer afternoon drop-off childcare, in case you fancy a day date instead (or just need to run errands or get work done).

Need a little Zen in your life? Take your pint-sized yogis in training to Zooga Yoga for a night of yoga play, games, arts and crafts, stories and music. The night is capped off with a movie on the big screen. A pizza dinner is included in the price. So much fun, your kiddos might protest going home at the end of the night. Kids can come in their pajamas and bring a blanket or sleeping bag.

Karate for Kids USA (North Hollywood)
“Ninja Nites” are perfect for kids with energy to burn, since they’ll love the spirited play of organized chaos. Awesome martial arts instructors, karate, upbeat games and obstacle courses, a movie and dinner too; your little sensei-in-training will love every jam-packed second, and no doubt be ready to crash by the time you get home. Also, at least once a year they host an overnight Ninja party! Drop your kids off in the evening and don’t return until the following morning. Perfect for a special celebration night. YMCA Parent’s Night Out (Locations throughout Los Angeles)
Make time for yourself and take a night off guilt free courtesy of Los Angeles area YMCAs. Kids will have a blast creating crafts, playing games, and challenging themselves in sports all while in a safe and supervised environment. The Realm (Santa Monica)
The Realm has dubbed this program Parent’s Survival Night. Need we say more? Every night is an adventure with themed arts and crafts. Think Harry Potter, pirates, jungle animals and more. Dinner is included in the price or picky kids are free to bring their own food with them. This program also offers one of the longest blocks of drop offs around, from 5 p.m.-11 p.m. Imagine the possibilities. Dare we say dinner and a movie?

Kidz Korner boasts one of the largest indoor playgrounds around, and from what we hear from them, kids really dig it. From games and stories, to movies and munchies each parent’s night out event is packed with activities. Did we mention there’s karaoke? Better there than at your house.

The Awesome Playground (Highland Park)
Since they accept kids as young as 1, this is an ideal opportunity for parents newly embarking on that “I can walk!” phase of babyhood.
