January 18 is author A.A. Milne’s birthday and in honor of that, it’s been designated Winnie the Pooh Day. We put together this list of Pooh-inspired fun to help you celebrate the famous, honey-loving bear and all his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood, right here in Los Angeles.

A Pot for Your Honey

Speaking of honey, every bear knows that a pot is the perfect place for storing all that golden, delicious nectar. Help your little honey bears make a pot of their own with a visit to Bitter Root Pottery. In their 2-hour class (available afternoons ‪Monday-Friday) kids will learn how to mold a simple lump of clay into a beautiful ceramic, worthy of the finest honey—or anything else you might be inclined to put in it.
