The much-anticipated Getty Center’s Garden Concerts for Kids kicks off on Aug. 2, while Ford Theatres’ Big World Fun continues with a bluegrass performance you don’t want to miss. Getty Center Kids Concerts
Bring a blanket to the Getty’s Central Garden for a 4 p.m. performance by Elena Moon Park (of the band Rabbit Days and Dumplings). Park will lead a fun and eclectic group of musicians in a cross-cultural musical fiesta. Sat. & Sun. Event details.

Big World Fun at Ford Theatres

Family First Fridays at the Village at Westfield Topanga

Kids Club at Sherman Oaks Galleria

“Toy Story Tempest” by The Actors’ Gang
The Bard meets Woody and Buzz with this Shakespeare in the Park adaptation, performed every weekend in August. Bring blankets or lawn chairs, find a spot on the grass and enjoy the innovative show.
