It’s the long Labor Day weekend – perhaps your first long weekend of the school year, or if you have one of the schools that starts next week, then it’s your last long weekend of summer. Whichever it is – it’s a weekend, it’s long, it’s sunny and gorgeous and you just want to have fun! Luckily, we have a few dozen options that will tickle every fancy. First and foremost, you’ll want to wish a very Happy Birthday to our fair city, then head to one of many fairs or festivals, take in a concert, a gourmet picnic, celebrate the sights and sounds of the Caribbean or Brazil, or celebrate the upcoming harvest with Farmer Days. Still stumped? There are a couple of Dodger games, free museum days, and of course it’s a great time to hit the beach!
