Celebrate summer this weekend, as August comes to a close. We’ve got a fiesta and a palooza and even a chance to boogie your booty off. Summer is super because of all the outdoor fun that’s everywhere, so take advantage of the nature that surrounds us with a birthday party for our parks, a campout with rangers (perfect for first timers or kiddos learning to camp) or take part in a horse tale adventure. You can catch an outdoor concert or ballgame, too. Where in the great outdoors will you be this weekend?
Happy Birthday, National Parks!
The National Park Service looks pretty spry for a 97 year old! Join the festivities taking place coast-to-coast, by finding a park near you, saying Happy Birthday, and giving a tree a birthday hug. Sat., 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Everywhere. Free. All ages. Event details.
