Love is in the Los Angeles air this weekend. Let your little Valentines get creative making greeting cards, sculptures, art pieces and more at a variety of different events this weekend from Pasadena to Redondo Beach. Plus, if spending the sweetheart holiday with the whole family is your wish, be sure to check out the special night at the Aquarium of the Pacific. In the mood to shake it up? Check out the Ozomatli Ozokidz concert at the Grammy Museum or get classy with the Saturday Morning Mash-Up featuring music from the classic Peter and the Wolf. And that’s just for starters; puppet shows, doggy days and marathons are up for grabs.

If a weekend escape is calling then head down to San Diego for The New Children Museum’s Kidfunk Family Festival (Sat., 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, $10)  featuring the percussion band Rhythm Child. Chinatown hosts this annual race every year in celebration of the Chinese New Year. Get your kids fired up and ready to sweat by getting registering them for the Kiddie Run. Ozomatli’s Ozokidz
The beloved Los Angeles group Ozomatli fires up the Clive Davis Theater at the Grammy Museum with their multicultural music.
