¡Latin Food Fest!
Celebrating its seventh annual Hispanic culinary celebration at Los Angeles State Historic Park, California’s largest annual Latin culinary extravaganza includes “Chefs Night Out,” a high energy party and “Gran Tasting Los Angeles,” the festivals signature event featuring food, beverage, wine, beer, and spirits stations, cooking and wine demonstrations, chef awards, VIP Tent, and a four-hour music performance by La Junta Sound System. Courage Day
Join the L.A. Clippers as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers for Contains: Courage™ Day powered by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). Tickets include an L.A. Clippers hat and the opportunity to attend a private pre-game warm-up watch session starting at 10:30 a.m. $5 from every ticket goes to FARE’s transformative Contains: Courage Campaign supporting families living with food allergies. Butterfly Pavilion
Butterflies are taking flight at NHM! Get up close to beautiful butterflies in their new Butterfly Pavilion. This seasonal exhibit — located outside on the south side of the Museum — features more flight space, more resting spots, and more natural light. There will be hundreds of free-flying butterflies inside, and our awesome Gallery Interpreters who can explain why these animals are so special. All ages welcome! Fri.-Sun. Event details.


Spark imaginations and shake out those wiggles! Join a new children’s yoga class that will be available in Brentwood, starting Mar. 31st. First class free. Sun. Event details.

Where budding “Gutenbergs” and “Horace Greeleys” can observe and join in on demonstrations in printing, papermaking, paper marbling, cartooning, book arts, origami, calligraphy, screen printing (bring a T-shirt), Pago sculptures, typewriting as well as mini-tours of the museum’s extraordinary collection of “operating” antique printing presses and the casting of type via the wonderfully noisy Linotype machine. Manhattan Beach

Barnes & Noble Manhattan Beach will host award-winning local author Seth Fishman to read from his new picture book, POWER UP: Your Incredible, Spectacular, Supercharged Body and talk about energy and the human body. Stuart Little
This play is all about Stuart Little who is a mouse born into a human family in New York City. Though his stature is appropriately small for a mouse, he displays a wit and intelligence far beyond his years.  He engages in a variety of adventures: Winning a sailboat race in Central Park; Befriending a beautiful bird and protecting her from a malicious cat; Attempting to court a diminutive human female from a wealthy society family; Being rescued from a garbage scow; Working as a substitute teacher; Searching for a missing friend; Making his way (rather successfully) in the world. Bumps & Babies
An east side baby event for expecting couples and new parents at The Family Room! Check out the panels and workshops on Who’s Tired? Let’s Talk about Sleep, Safety First (including CPR/First Aid), Finding Childcare, Best in Gear with Nordstrom, and more. Plus, important local resources like Babywearing LA for hands-on help, and The Family Room’s lactation consultant to answer all your breastfeeding and pumping questions. Amazing local vendors you will want to meet like Little Foodie Club and lots of giveaways, including a package from Tot Squad,  photo shoot (pregnancy, newborn or family) from Mama Niela, PJ’s Comfort Breast Pump, and more. BBQ Competition at Santa Anita
The 8th Annual Winners’ Circle BBQ Championship at Santa Anita Park has expanded to two days—Sat. Mar. 30 and Sun. Mar. 31, 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day. Event attendees can enjoy tastes from top BBQ teams and vote for their own favorites at the People’s Choice competition and have fun on carnival rides. BBQ competition sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, the world’s largest organization of barbecue and grilling enthusiasts. Sat.-Sun. Event details.
