Happy Fire Service Day!
Forget Mother’s Day – your kids’ favorite holiday on the second weekend of May is Fire Service Day. It’s when fire departments all over town open up for tours and safety tips, food and fun. Head to your local fire department to meet your local heroes, or seek out a station with a big celebration. (Our fave is the pancake breakfast at the LAFD Museum in Hollywood.) Event details.
