Spa Lé La
What happens when you combine a full-service salon and spa with a super fun kids’ playroom? You get Spa Lé La! Studio City’s best kept secret and the biggest win-win in our books (and totally worth the trek if you live on the westside).

Bring your darling diva along for a kids mani and/or pedi and then send them off to the kid’s corner for complimentary childcare (with CPR certified nannies) while you sign up for more services. And by “childcare,” Spa Lé La means fun classes, baby yoga, art projects and even homework help for school-aged kids all while you get pampered in the next room.

Need a nap? Schedule some time post-spa-treatment time in one of their luxurious beds for a well-deserved snooze before gathering up the kids to head home. Everyone leaves refreshed and happy. Best. Playdate. Ever.

Know before you go: Call ahead and schedule your appointment in advance as to make sure there will be space for the littles in the playroom (ages 6 months – 9 years old).

Color Me Green Nail Boutique
This eco-friendly nail boutique in Manhattan Beach (and a second location in LaCanada Flintridge) is a relaxing haven perfect for a tandem mani/pedi. Boasting only the most parent-pleasing products, they use organic, non-toxic and even vegan polish lines. Parents will love that all of their lacquers are quite “green” indeed and are free from harmful chemicals including Toulene, Formaldehyde, and DBP plus they have a water-soluble collection of polishes called Piggy Paint for kids.

Kids will love the “Purity” service, which begins by soaking little hands and feet in a bubble bath filled with extracts of chamomile and aloe vera followed by a massage with a delicate blend of apricot, orange, and lavender-infused lotion.

Moms-to-Be and nursing Moms should check out the “Breathe” service which bears in mind the sensitivity to smell (and/or hypersensitive skin conditions) most women experience when pregnant and postpartum.
