This is when crock pot and slow cooker meals could really save you! Prepare the meal while the kids are at school and the cooking becomes actually nice, quiet and pleasant. Throw all the ingredients in early and let the aromas fill your house all day until your family is finally ready to eat. This Bacon Wrapped Apple Barbecue Chicken requires only 5 yummy ingredients and 4 steps…can you believe it?!  Everything that goes in tastes amazing, especially together. So don’t be afraid to put your feet up and enjoy yourself because this recipe will surely satisfy all of your family’s hungry tummies.

Ingredients:
3-4 chicken breasts
½ cup barbecue sauce
1-2 apples, peeled and grated
Juice of 1 lemon
6-8 slices of bacon

Method:
1. In a small bowl, combine barbecue sauce, grated apple, and lemon juice.

2. Rinse chicken breasts and pat dry. Wrap 2 pieces of bacon around each chicken breast half.

3. Place wrapped chicken in a greased 4-5 quart slow cooker and top with BBQ sauce mixture.

4. Set to low and cook for 8 hours.
