The friendly Chan family keeps the display case stocked and ready to go with their signature treat but if strawberry is not a fave there are many other cakes to choose from as well. 24 hours notice is typically all it takes for special orders. Even if it’s not a birthday, Phoenix has an over abundance of other mouth watering baked goods. They also specialize in Red Velvet Cupcakes, Tiramisu, Sticky Sugar Butterflies cookies, and out of this world Pork Buns.
Located in Chinatown, even a visit can be a full day kid-friendly adventure. This 16 square block district is filled with interesting things to see, great lunch stops,and a plethora of family-owned shops filled with curiosities. Make it even less hassle of a trip and leave the car behind. The Metro Goldline is a quick and the most hassle-free way to get to Chinatown. Connecting through Union Station, the Chinatown Stop is located in the heart of the neighborhood.
