Come taste a full variety of Tamales (a holiday tradition), alongside arts & crafts for kiddos, music, 10,000 free toys for kids (!) and more. What’s a tamale? Well… it’s a traditional Mesoamerican dish made of masa (a starchy dough, usually corn-based), which is steamed or boiled in a leaf or corn husk wrapper. The wrapping is discarded before eating. Tamales can be filled with meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, chilies or any preparation according to taste. And at the festival, you’ll definitely find something to your taste!
