While the royals haven’t revealed a due date, judging by the soon-to-be grandparents’ actions—baby time is near! On the heals of some serious speculation, after Prince Charles scheduled his German tour to begin on May 7, it looks like Meghan Markle’s mother’s travel plans are also a major birth day clue.

According to a recent report from Entertainment Tonight, Doria Ragland recently arrived in London. And if Markle is anything like the rest of us regular non-royal mamas, having your mother at the birth of your first baby is an absolute must.

Even though the Duchess of Sussex has everything and anything a new mommy could ever need, there’s absolutely no substitute for the love, support and help of your own mother. Of course the mother-daughter due date/delivery duo deal isn’t just a one-way street where the new grandma helps the new mom.

A previously released statement from Kensington Palace illustrates this, noting, “Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news and she looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild.”

Now that Markle’s mom is on her side of the pond, we’re ready to start counting down the days until the newest royal arrival!
