What’s cuter than a newborn? Apparently, one dressed up as a pickle!

The UPMC Magee-Womens Hospitall dressed up babies as pickles in honor of the annual Pittsburgh Pickle Festival, known as Picklesburgh, by dressing the hospital’s newborns up in pickle-themed outfits, and they are even more adorable than you imagined.

Each little dill pickle was outfitted with hand-knitted green hats and blankets complete with pickley bumps. They each donned a onesie reading “Special Dill-ivery.”

During the ceremony to reveal the young gherkins, a city spokesman described the Picklesburgh festival as “built for every pregnant woman’s craving” and predicted that the first pickle babies could be mayors of Picklesburgh some day. This is the fourth year of the festival and clearly the residents of Pittsburgh think it’s a pretty big dill.
