Once you pop you can’t stop—not a Dunkin’ slogan but it’s just popping to mind. That’s because the company just announced Popping Bubbles, strawberry bursting bubbles that can be added to any cold drink. And there’s a fun contest in store, too!

Starting June 23, you can try this fun add-on to your frosty beverage of choice. It’s made with color sourced from plants and the strawberry flavor adds a fruity twist perfect for summertime. All beverages with the bubbles will come with a new pink and orange wide paper straw to fully enhance the popping experience.

The launch pairs with a new instant win online game that rolls out on July 2. Follow Dunkin’ on Instagram for the game link, which allows you to pop virtual bubbles to reveal if you’ve won one of thousands of gift cards or other rewards, like inflatable pool rafts or a cash grand prize. Make sure you’re on it, because you can only play during the month of July.

If you’re pondering which bev to add your bubbles to, Lemonade Refreshers launched this spring and would give you that color contrast for the ‘Gram. But you could also be bold and add it to a frozen matcha latte or a Dunkaccino. The options are endless!

Dunkin’ recently launched its new spring menu—and it includes Avocado Toast awesomeness!

The ever-sweet Dunkin’ brand is bringing a splash of savory to your breakfast or lunch table. Along with an all-new Avocado Toast option, the spring menu also includes two ooey, gooey Grilled Cheese melts.

Forget about smearing plain avocado on a random piece of bread. The Dunkin’ version of the beloved breakfast, lunch, and dinner treat features avocado seasoned with sea salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. The tasty blend sits on top of Dunkin’s authentic toasted Sourdough Bread.

As if that’s not enough, you’ll also get an extra dash of flavor with a sprinkling of Everything Bagel Seasoning. This mix of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, and garlic gives Dunkin’s Avocado Toast a flavor you won’t forget.

Jill Nelson, Vice President, Marketing & Culinary at Dunkin’ said in a press release, “Dunkin’s new Avocado Toast is the definition of quality delivered at the speed of Dunkin’. We’ve taken a popular brunch staple and made it accessible for anyone looking for something easy and delicious to eat on-the-go. With simple ingredients at an affordable price, Dunkin’s Avocado Toast is the latest feel good addition to our evolving menu.”

Feb. 24 through Mar. 23 you can earn 10 DD Perks towards a free beverage on your Avocado Toast purchases.

If you’re more of a grilled cheese person, Dunkin’ has you covered. The two new melts include a white cheddar and American cheese sandwich on Sourdough Bread and an option with ham.

Along with the Avocado Toast and Grilled Cheese Melt, Dunkin’s spring menu includes Cold Brew with Sweet Cold Foam, Chocolate Stout Cold Brew with Sweet Cold Foam, the Charli Cold Foam, the Blueberry Matcha Latte, the Matcha Topped Donut, and an Irish Creme Flavored Coffee.

Dunkin’ Just Launched a New Way to Enjoy Your Morning Coffee

Got just a few days to spend in LA with the family and want to squeeze it all in—from the beach to Beverly Hills and beyond? We’ve got you covered with the ultimate itinerary, created specifically with kids in mind. Keep scrolling for all the details on where to play, eat and stay with three days in LA.

Day 1: Make a Splash

Kick off your LA weekend with the ultimate beach day. Rent some beach cruisers near the Santa Monica Pier and pedal along the paved shoreline path to the Annenberg Community Beach House. (If your kiddos aren't quite bike-ready, you can also drive to the destination and park on site.) The Beach House offers plenty of sandy areas for caste-building, a free splash pad and al fresco dining by way of Back on the Beach Cafe. If you're visiting between May and Sept., you can also reserve tickets to the Beach House Pool

For a more off-the-beaten path beach experience, consider heading further north along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway to one of Malibu's many tucked-away beaches. Just note that parking can be tricky at many of these locations, and there's often a steep trek down stairs to the sand. Once you've made it though, you'll be rewarded with tide pools, sea caves and sandy shores for miles.

Post surf and sand, make your way back to the Santa Monica Pier for a spin on the historic carousel and some good old-fashioned fun at Pacific Park, complete with an 85-ft. ferris wheel, retro arcade games, funnel cakes and more.

If you need a respite from the crowds, it's just a short walk to Tvonga Park, a 6.2-acre oasis hidden away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Santa Monica. As the day nears to an end, hop in the car for a quick trip down the coast to Manhattan Beach where the sun sets in a blaze of orange and pink over the ocean.

JW Marriott Santa Monica

Haute Hotel Tip: If you're looking to stay within walking distance of the beach, the Marriott has two family-friendly options that fit the bill: JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot or the nearby Marriott Marina Del Rey. The Santa Monica location, with its luxe, oversized rooms, is a 7-minute stroll from the Pier, while the grounds of the modern Marina Del Rey hotel are right alongside Marina Beach (aka Mother's Beach), a sheltered, surf-free cove made for little ones.

Day 2: Seeing Stars

2 Rodeo via Yelp

What's a trip to LA without some stargazing—both the celestial and cinematic kind? Keep your eyes peeled for celebs during a morning visit to 2 Rodeo Drive (starting at Wilshire Blvd.) in Beverly Hills. The stretch of Rodeo is where you'll find a quaint cobblestone street, European-inspired architecture and a stretch of high-end boutiques.

Next on the itinerary: Universal Studios Hollywood, where you don't want to miss the behind-the-scenes studio tour, Harry Potter's Hogwarts Castle and the recently opened Jurassic World - The Ride. For little ones, there's the Despicable Me area with a Minion-inspired dance party, plus the nearby Super Silly Fun Land, which features a massive water-play setup along with a dry zone where kids can jump, slide and climb.

Once you've exhausted all that Universal has to offer, drive about three miles to Lake Hollywood Park, where you can park along Canyon Lake Dr. and capture all those Insta-worthy pics of the iconic Hollywood sign. From there, it's another short trip to the Griffith Observatory where you're guaranteed to see LA's brightest stars... in the sky. Kids can check out meteorites, admire the sizzling Tesla Coil and, after dark, peer through the Zeiss telescope for a glimpse of the cosmos.

Day 3: Art Attack

Introduce a little arts, culture and creative fun into your LA vaycay with a visit to two of the city's top museums. First up? A tram ride (hello, perennial kid favorite) to The Getty Center. Squeeze in a quick tour of the Michelangelo exhibit (on display until Jun.) and at least a sampling of the wide array of European and North American Art, before healing to the Family Room for hands-on activities and play. Before you leave, wander through the sprawling gardens with its winding paths and waterfalls.

Follow The Getty with a stop at LACMA. You'll no doubt recognize the outdoor Urban Light display—all those antique-style lamp posts that make for a great photo op. Although the museum is currently under construction, parts of it are still open (and the scaled-down space makes it more manageable when you've only got a couple hours to spend). Be sure to check out the pop-up art activities in the galleries and Metropolis II, a sculpture with moving parts made to look like a mini city, open select times Fri.-Sun.

Hauser & Wirth via Yelp

Keep the arts and culture trip going as you discover discover a whole new side of LA (beyond the beach and Beverly Hills) in downtown's Arts District. Stop by Hauser & Wirth, part gallery, part community gathering place with its public garden and family art workshops.

There's also ROW DTLA, the 30-acre complex of shops, pop-ups, dining and more, located on the edge of the trendy Arts District. Wander through the open-air produce market, peek into Makers Mess (an art studio for kids and adults), and pause at Dulce Dos for a matcha latte and delicious vegan (and non-vegan) donuts. Can't get more authentically LA than that!

Haute Hotel Tip: Stay in LA's trendy downtown area courtesy of Sheraton Grand Los Angeles, an urban hotel with a family-friendly vibe. Situated in the heart of downtown, it's a short distance to the Staples Center, Grand Park, The Broad museum and more.

Deal Alert!

Popsicle Released Limited-Edition Double Pops, but You Can Make Them Permanent

You may have heard that the hip stretch of Sawtelle Blvd. in West LA has just officially been renamed Japantown. The new christening was the reminder we needed of what a great hood this is to visit with kids, with good shopping and great eats. Plus, it’s right near Stoner Park, which boasts not only a pool but also a skate park and accessible playground. It’s a perfect summer exploration destination.

Shop

Giant Robot
This whole store is devoted to Asian pop culture and art, so Toys R Us they certainly aren’t. And we mean that in the best possible way.  Each time you wander in you find an amazing assortment of publications that pique kids’ imaginations. Self published zines, unheard-of comics (not your ordinary Marvel kind) and photo books all with a cutting edge. Keep your eyes on what the tots are browsing, because some materials in the publications may not be suitable for young children. But perfectly suitable for all ages are the huge assortment of Uglydolls, Cubebots, all things Tokidoki, their superb collection of Asian stationery items, and collectible boxed figurines. Where else can you find such novelties as sippy cups masquerading as Cup O’ Noodles or Sriracha sauce?  It’s an awesome place to score unique birthday presents and back to school treasures.  GR2 Gallery (Giant Robot 2 Gallery) featuring mainly artwork is located right across the street.

Nijiya Market
You’ll want to give them an award for being the most immaculately kept Asian food market in LA, with everything neatly wrapped, organized and refrigerated. This gourmet Japanese food shop has a nicely sized organic produce selection as well as a healthy selection of brown rice blends, for those who are having a hard time convincing kids to switch from fluffy white to nutty brown. But we all know the big draw of Japanese food is the assortment of yummy and oh-so-cute snacks that wee hands won’t be able to resist. Look for one of the helpful associates to read the packages and let you in on which are better choices, and you’ll find a huge selection of items like Calbee’s Harvest Snaps or Shrimp Chips which are both baked, not fried. The deli here is also a great go-to for ready made items to grab for an Asian inspired picnic, featuring kid-friendly California rolls and potstickers, as well as numerous bento box offerings for adults.

Daiso
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could pack a store to the gills with every cute and useful tchotchke from Asia and make everything only a dollar fifty? Yup, here it is, and grab a basket on the way in because you sure aren’t coming out empty handed. Kitchenware, toys, beauty products, stationery, automotive, pet and gardening sections just to name a few, with many items featuring those uber-cute designs made only in Japan. Check out their amazing selection of craft materials, origami and air-dry clay in addition to the toy aisle, and the kiddos will go gaga over the possibilities. Seriously, at least 90% of the store is priced at $1.50, so they can go crazy.

Kula
Hungry yet? The kid-friendliest conveyor belt sushi place in town is located two doors down from Daiso. Watch the little ones get excited as they see their favorites inching down the belt, as you sit in their roomy family sized booths. At $2.25 a plate, you can expand their repertoires by trying out new items. Try to aim for arrival for lunch or dinner before 5:15 p.m., because the dinner wait can be long.

FuRaiBo
Looking for something a little more authentic than sushi, teriyaki and tempura? Although the kids love those, there’s more to Japanese food than rice and seaweed. Look no further, as FuRaiBo is one of the oldest and most authentic eateries on the strip. When we say authentic, we don’t mean stuffy and traditional, we mean down home, families relaxing and enjoying the type of cooking you might find on a dinner table in Japan. Everything comes on little dishes tapas style so you can try a bunch of things and see what the kids will eat. The menu comes in English and Japanese, and all their servers are helpful so you can ask lots of questions about their huge array of choices. And if it turns out that the munchkins have their mind set on sushi, teriyaki and tempura, that’s okay, they have those too, so relax and be as adventurous (or not) as you like.

Curry House
If Denny’s merged with Coco’s and hired a Japanese chef, the result would be the Curry House. Filled with lots of families, high chairs and a fab assortment of dishes, you’ll be sure to find something to please picky palates. Try the Chicken Katsu, or the Corn Potage, and don’t miss out on the house salad— the dressing is amazing and even the most finicky eater will gobble it down, despite it being a salad. As a plus, you can also order online and dash in to pick up a quick dinner.

Desserts and Treats

Brian’s Shave Ice
This is no ordinary syrup over ice, but the softest powdered snow that you’ve ever touched, with a filling. Yup, filling in a snow cone! First, choose your size. Then choose your filling. We recommend the Dole Whip, only available at a few select SoCal locations like Disneyland. Then choose any of the 30 syrups available to add to your creation, and then the topping that that goes on last. The condensed milk is a favorite, but to mini chocoholics, the Ghiradelli is hard to resist. Finally, grab a table and let the little ones watch as the huge concoction gets created before their eyes. Parents may want to share with their kids as the regular size ices are big enough for two.

Beard Papa’s
The yummy dessert with the weirdest name, this place is known for their amazing cream puffs. Flavors vary by day, but you can’t go wrong with the classic vanilla, which will redefine your idea of what a cream puff should be. For the youngest tots, opt for the mini puffs, but be sure to eat them all the same day as they won’t last. Take note, these are also a great alternative to cupcakes for your next party and you can get them individually wrapped in a take-out container.

Coco Tea
Are you hip enough to boba? These Taiwanese dessert drinks come hot or cold, and have chewy tapioca balls to munch as you sip. Order any of their teas, slushes or smoothies in combination with any of the add-ons like boba, coconut jelly or soy pudding, and you’ll have quite a filling sweet snack. If you’re in need of a quick caffeine fix, try one of the Asian inspired coffees, such as the Japanese Matcha Latte. But because most drinks are sucked through a straw, best to leave the full size boba for the bigger kids and opt for the mini-boba or jellies for the little ones. Regular size drinks are large enough to share if enjoying post-meal.

Why not make a day out of your outing and visit nearby Stoner Park, only a few minutes away from Sawtelle Japantown and offering a wide array of activities to boot.

photo credit: Dominique M. via yelp

Stoner Park
A huge universally accessible playground makes this park a fun place for the littles but the shady trees and benches near the playground makes it a nice place for parents too. There is plenty of parking (watch the street cleaning hours) all around the perimeter of the park. In the early spring, a blizzard of pink petals surround the park from its many cherry blossom trees. We’ve also noticed some organized dog agility training going on towards the west side of the park on select weekends, which is always fun for little dog lovers to watch.

Stoner Skate Park
Boasting a whopping 20,500 sq. feet, this modern skate park was designed with local skaters. It’s popular with both skateboarders and scooter riders, so it can be crowded during non-school hours but we bet the kids will be glued to their seats watching what the big kids (and pros) can do.

Stoner Park Pool
Scheduled to open for the summer season in early June, this pool features swimming lessons, team sports, and a junior lifeguard program. Kids love the splash pad with slides and sprayers and parents adore the super affordable prices. The deep end is only 4.5 feet, and there are lifeguards on duty, so you can feel secure about safety. But be aware of their 1 to 1 adult to kid ratio, and rule that everyone (including parents) must have on a swimsuit to enter the premises. Prices are $3.50 adults and $1 for kids.
