Keep reading to find out.
According to the recipe, you’ll need one scoop of vanilla ice cream, 4 ounces of pineapple juice, and two cups of frozen pineapple. Then add all to a blender, blend until smooth, and then add to a piping bag before swirling out the delicious Disney Dole Whip treat—because it has to look like it came straight from the ice cream machine, right?
Who’s getting excited for Halloween? In anticipation of the ultimate spooky season, Disney just expanded its Adaptive Roleplay kid’s costumes and wheelchair cover sets to include even more options this year.
Disney’s adaptive costumes came on the market last year and included options like Disney Princesses and Pixar characters. Now, kids can also choose from Marvel Studios’ Black Panther Adaptive Costume, a Star Wars: The Mandalorian Adaptive Costume and Star Wars: The Mandalorian Wheelchair Cover Set and more!
Kids and adults who use wheelchairs and have other accessibility needs will find the adaptive costumes a great fit. The costumes are made with stretch fabric that opens in the front, is open in the rear and has a long inseam.
Each costume has flap openings on the front center with self-stick fabric closure to accommodate tube access and the wheelchair cover sets fit most standard wheelchairs with 24-inch wheels. The sets include plastic piping pieces for added support and long self-stick fabric strips to secure the pieces.
The 2021 Halloween collection is live on shopDisney.com and already has tons of costumes for new releases like Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon as well as classic films. You can find decor, clothing and accessories to last you the whole season!

What exactly is the new affogato at Dunkin‘? The drink-meets-dessert, which is available now at Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins combo stores nationwide, marries two of your faves—coffee and ice cream!
This traditional Italian dessert has made its way around the globe and settled in your local Dunkin’ Baskin-Robbins store. And sorry bambinos—this ice cream treat is for mom or dad only.
The word “affogato” comes from the Italian meaning “to drown.” And that’s exactly what this delish dessert does. It’s a scoop of Baskin-Robbins’ French Vanilla Ice Cream drowned in Dunkin’s own piping hot and uber-caffeinated espresso. So if you’re looking for a creamy, sweet and downright delizioso caffeine fix, here you go!
Get this new menu item at your local Dunkin’ Baskin-Robbins store for $3.49. If you’re into trying before buying, make sure to stop by your local store on Monday, Mar. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time for a free sample.
Flapjack fans rejoice! Make your calendars because Tuesday, Mar. 12 is Free Pancake Day and we’ve got the scoop on where to get free pancakes all day long.
Head to your local IHOP—a.k.a., the United Nations of Pancakes—for a free short stack of Original Buttermilk Pancakes on Tuesday, Mar. 12. Here’s an even better reason to grab yourself a piping hot stack of pancakes for National Pancake Day, (besides the obvious benefit of a free meal): these are pancakes with a purpose.
You might know Free Pancake Day as National Pancake Day. Same thing, right? Yes—but IHOP has upped their game to make free pancakes even better by renaming their big day to “Free Pancake Day: Flip it Forward for Kids.”
For each stack of pancakes IHOP serves on Free Pancake Day, the national chain will donate money to help children battling critical illnesses. According to IHOP’s website, the company has raised more than $30 million to help its community partners since the first National Pancake Day in 2006. IHOP has chosen to spotlight three charities at its National Pancake Day website: Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
There’s even a new item on the menu, courtesy of the company’s charity work: IHOP asked kids who were treated at any Children’s Miracle Network hospital to create their dream pancake recipe. After some very tasty work, the pancake pros picked three finalists—with six-year-old Brody taking the top prize for his OREO Oh My Goodness pancakes. IHOP will donate one dollar for each of these cookie crumble-topped pancakes sold on National Pancake Day
Happy New Year! Here’s to another 365 days of enjoying the mess, craziness and of course, all the love of parenting. Sit back and enjoy some hilarious tweets about surviving the last seven days from our fave Twitter parents, while you wait for school to resume from the long winter break.
1. When does school start again?
My kids have been home for 9 days for winter break so far and they've been talking the entire time. The. ENTIRE. TIME.
I may be a 37 year old mom but I still know how to live life on the edge. For example, I’m eating my piping hot soup on the couch while my 2yo jumps on the cushion beside me. YOLO. Yeet. And the like. #momlife#parenting#toddlerlife
I can't wait for when my daughter's a teenager and loves to sleep so I can come into her room at the crack of dawn, lay next to her and tell her all about how much I love cheese like she did to me this morning.
Oh you had to go back to work today? My kid doesn’t go back to school until January 8th and wants to “paint the iPad a new color” but yeah that sounds rough
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season and not too overwhelmed with all the check lists of things to do. Although this time of year can tend to be a bit crazy and stressful, it is important to remember the message of the holidays and for everyone that means something different. For me, the holidays means family, friends, memories, and showing the people you love how much you appreciate them.
I love teaching this message to my children and one way we do this is having them help with all the gifts that they give to people. This year we chose a cute reindeer hot chocolate that is easy to make and of course adorable. Lets get started:
MATERIALS AND INGREDINTS:
Piping Bags
Chocolate Envelope
Mini Chocolate Chips
Mini Marshmallows
Red Pom Pom Ball
Wiggle Eyes
Tan or Brown Pipe Cleaner
Ribbon
Glue
Scissors
Stapler
Custom note for who you are giving the gift too
Single Hole Punch
Directions:
Pour hot cocoa mix into piping bag all the way to bottom
Layer in mini chocolate chips
Add layer of marshmallows
Cinch the top of the bag and tie on a ribbon
Cut out a gift note and punch a hole in the top. Weave the ribbon through the hole and knot it to hold the gift tag in place
Wrap a pipe cleaner around the bag and shape it into antlers
Place wiggle eyes and glue a pom pom for Rudolph’s face
Trim off the excess piping bag above antlers
This is the time of year where our kiddos get spoiled with gifts and attention. In all the gift receiving, it is important to teach our children that giving gifts, appreciating others, and showing your love is just as important.
