Learn, Play, and Create: Young minds can run wild at the Children’s Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton. The CMEE has a Long Island-themed indoor play space and an outdoor playground. Plus: there is a miniature golf course on the grounds that visitors get to play for free! CMEE also hosts a variety of toddler and kid classes including Baby & Me, Cooking, Chess, Sensory Play and Gardening. Insider Tip: You will need a reservation to visit, and make note: The museum is closed on Thursdays.
Eat Outside: A summer must! We love Cowfish in Hampton Bays for an upscale meal waterside, Navy Beach in Montauk for stunning sunsets (reservations are required!), and Lobster Roll AKA Lunch, with locations in Amagansett and Southampton, for the lobster roll and more casual fare. For authentic Mexican street food, check out La Fondita, also in Amagansett.
Perfect Your Swing: Play a round of mini-golf at the Hamptons-themed course at Hamptons Mini Golf, Puff ‘n’ Putt in Montauk (it's cash only!), or Whale’s Tale on Shelter Island, which is open seasonally.
Have a Barnyard Adventure: Head to Harbes Family Farm, a popular 100-acre farm in Mattituck for fun for both kids and adults. In addition to the original farmstand, the farm includes the Barnyard Adventure, an 8-acre family-friendly attraction that includes farm animals, Jumbo Jumpers bounce pillows, a trike track, sports zone, Gnome-themed hedge maze, and "bunnyville" (so cute!). The farm also includes Harbes Wine Barn, a wine-tasting room renovated from a 100-year-old potato barn.
Enjoy Live Music: Take the kiddos to a concert series hosted by Southampton Cultural Center in Agawam Park and Cooper’s Beach in Southampton. Most concerts are held on Wednesdays and start at 6:30 p.m. Concerts that are held on Saturdays start at 5 p.m. Young ones can frolic and play as you relax on blankets.
Cool Down with a Treat: Hamptons favorite BuddhaBerry in Sag Harbor offers serve-your-own fro-yo in flavors like caramel sea salt pretzel or sweet peach from Georgia, plus endless toppings to choose from, such as dinosaur gummies. They'll even offer you a large cookie to top off your cool creation. Or, indulge the kids at the long-time favorite Sip ‘n Soda in Southampton with old-fashioned root beer floats, banana splits, and milkshakes.
Bond with Nature: It's the mission of Amber Waves Farm to produce organic, healthy food for the local community and to reintroduce wheat to the local East End of Long Island. Kids ages two to nine can learn all about living the farm life by visiting the Amagansett spot, which hosts summer workshops,events, and customized programming, such as Farm Chores for Kids, Cooking Classes, and Foraging at the Farm. The farmer's market is great here, too!
Try Some Pizza: Brooklyn favorite Roberta's has a spot in Montauk, and chef PJ Palaca has taken over Astro's Pizza in Amagansett.
Frolic in a Lavender Farm: Have a moment of Zen walking among the lavender bloom at Lavender By the Bay. This massive farm grows English and French lavender and sells timed tickets for 90-minute slots. Take a deep breath at the East Marion or Calverton Farm and then stop by the shop for some calming goods to take home!
Quack Like a Duck: Grab the cracked corn (it’s better for the ducks than bread) and head to the duck pond on David’s Lane in East Hampton. Located on the edge of a nature preserve, there are plenty of trails to explore here after you give the ducks a snack.
Explore Long Island’s Nature: Learn about the local eco-system and touch amphibians and reptiles native to Long Island at the South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center, where you can also go on outings like bird-watching or exploring a pond for critters. At the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, you can walk seven miles of trails through diverse habitats including forests and ponds, as well as the ecologically rare Dwarf Pines in the Pine Barrens. The refuge also offers Summer Ecology programs for kids as young as four and as old as juniors in high school.
Act Out: The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center offers weekly musical theatre camp in which kids ages six to 16 become part of the show or work behind the scenes. The Center also stages live shows outdoors in the evenings.
Get Some Ice Cream: There's no shortage of ice cream in the Hamptons. We think the best can be found at Magic Fountain in Mattituck, Snowflake Ice Cream in Riverhead, John's Drive-in in Montauk, Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton, and Gemelli Gelato in Hampton Bays, which has a huge outdoor seating area.
Discover History: Visit Quogue’s oldest schoolhouse built in 1822 at the Old Schoolhouse Museum. Then tour the area’s oldest operating water mill and colonial crafts at the Water Mill Museum (closed Mon.-Wed.). Don’t miss Long Island’s whaling heritage displays of whale jaw bones and harpoons at The Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum (open Thurs.-Sun.; reservations recommended).
Go On Safari: The largest combined children’s zoo and wildlife park on Long Island, the Long Island Game Farm in Manorville, will entertain kiddos of any age with a giraffe, red kangaroos, lemurs, zebra, and alligators. Plus, Old McDonald’s Farm Petting Zoo lets kids reach out and touch furry friends.
Saddle Up: If you love horseback riding, you’ve come to the right place. Stony Hill Stables in Amagansett welcomes all ages for pony camp and competitions. Head to The Green School in Sagaponack for private riding lessons for kids ages three and up.
Hit the Beach: Choose from the calm waters on the bay side or the roaring waves and white sands of the ocean side. Try the low-key, family-friendly Indian Wells Beach in Amagansett with food trucks and restrooms, or the sprawling Cooper's Beach in Southampton, which has a concession stand, chair and umbrella rentals, bathrooms, and fresh water showers. Little ones will appreciate the gentle waters at Foster Memorial Long Beach in Sag Harbor—it’s a little rocky, but the waters are warmer and you won’t find waves here. Insider Tip: Be prepared to leave early to get a parking spot, and pay for it. Many beaches in the Hamptons are not public.
Get Some Doughnuts: Head to North Fork Doughnut Co. for "craft doughnuts" made from scratch daily using locally-sourced ingredients, including fresh farm berries. Don't forget to check out the destination bakeshop's monthly "flavor forecast" before you go!
Visit The Big Duck: A local landmark and piece of Americana since the 1930s, The Big Duck is located in Flanders, New York, along Route 24 just outside of Riverhead. Its belly holds a small museum and duck souvenirs, but its really about the exterior: Drive by at night and the eyes—lights from a Model T—glow.
See Where Pollock and Krasner Worked: You might say that visiting the home and workshop of one of America's foremost abstract expressionists is a bit high-minded for kids, but we're guessing that at some point your child has returned from school or camp with artwork inspired by Pollock's splatter method. At the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, you can see the preserved house where they lived, tour the grounds, and inhabit the actual workshop space where Pollock created his large-scale works.
Go All Aboard: Make a stop at the Railroad Museum of Long Island, which has locations in both Riverhead and Greenport. Train-loving tots will freak over the model train exhibits, historic rail cars, and locomotives.
See Sea Creatures Up Close: The Long Island Aquarium is home to one of the largest all-living, closed-system coral reef displays in the Western hemisphere! You'll find all kinds of animals here, including seals, sea lions, sea otters, butterflies, insects, seahorses, and jellyfish. Insider Tip: Visit the aquarium within seven days of your birthday and get in free (ID and birth certificate required).
Build a Castle: Take part in weekly sandcastle building contests at Hither Hills State Park in Montauk every Thursday morning. All ages build their best castle using sand, water, and natural materials found on the beach. The State Park hosts additional family-friendly events like magic shows and musical performances.
See Montauk via MonTiki: Tour The End of the island like you never have before via a catamaran crafted in the style of a Polynesian boat with Sailing Montauk. Do a simple day sail, sunset sail, or a sail-and-swim session.
Slip and Slide: If you prefer your water play with chlorine—not salt—head to the area's popular waterpark Splish Splash for a totally tubular time. Insider Tip: The park's two new extreme slides, Bombs Away and Riptide Race, are musts for thrill-seekers!
Watch Horses & High-Profile Peeps: Head to the annual Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton to see some stallions jumping—not to mention the rich and famous who make the scene (and hobnob in the VIP tent). Held on Aug. 27-Sept. 3, it's seven days of sport, shopping, and food.
See a Puppet Show: Put down the iPad and be entertained by Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre, either at a puppet camp or by its new Puppet Truck that will be rolling around all summer.
Take in a Ballgame: Grab the crackerjacks and cheer for your local baseball team—from the Montauk Mustangs to the Westhampton Aviators or Sag Harbor Whalers! The Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League features seven teams with college players from around the country. Most games take place nearly every evening at 5 p.m. in July. Past summers have included softball camp and youth clinics.

For a high-energy bash, head to New York Ninja Academy, where party guests train on ninja warrior obstacles (similar to those seen on NBC's American Ninja Warrior) with professional ninja staff. A 90-minute party includes a course run at the end, complete with lights, sound effects, and hitting the buzzer at the end of the course. Parties are $800 for 9 kids or fewer, with it being $100 more for 10-15 kids. There is a $30 charge per child after that, up to 20 children.
Book your own private and heated "glass house" at Watermark's Winter Wonderland and feast on s'mores, fondue, and other goodies. This Winter Wonderland on the pier features a tunnel of lights; forty 15-foot evergreens, and even the occasional "Snow Show" thanks to a snow machine. The Skyline Drive-in is an option that often shows family movies—The LEGO Movie, How to Train Your Dragon, and Boss Baby are examples of past screenings here—and it offers a beautiful Manhattan view. Tickets are $55/car.
You can have a horse or pony ride at a kid's birthday party in a variety of ways in NYC.
Rent a pony for an hour from Be Brooklyn Equine (previously known as Kensington Stables). If you can have your party in Prospect Park near the Bridle Path, it's very convienent. Online: prospectpark.org
The Bronx Equestrian Center offers pony rides and a party area for $300 for two hours on-site. The pony is available for one of the two hours. Online:nychorse.com
The Jamaica Bay Riding Academy does parties for kids (minimum 12 guests). Parties are 90 minutes, with 45 minutes for rides. Online:horsebackride.com
Beat the Bomb (the puzzle game experience that covers you with paint if you "lose") is an experience you don't want to miss in DUMBO. Check out the clean, or "no-paint" bomb, the Ballz Bomb (literally soft balls), if your party doesn't want to get messy. Kids must be 8 or older and there must be an adult present.
If you're willing to travel, snow tubing could be a real crowd-pleaser. The closest spot is Campgaw Mountain in Mahwah, New Jersey. Tubers must be 42 inches or taller.
A perennial go-to for winter babies is the ice-skating party. Why fight it, especially when you have so many amazing rinks to choose from. Governors Island Skating Rink is open daily and always has events going on, food options around, and games and attractions too. This is the perfect area to rent for a winter birthday party.
Yes, it's a Bucket List thing, but we just had to include it. There are varying packages beginning at $350 and going as high as $900 (depending on which add-ons you choose). You can choose to include Build-a-Bear kits, goodie bags, ice cream, candy, adult beverages, and so on. You can customize your party to be what you want it to be, but keep in mind, weekdays will be cheaper than weekends and holidays.
Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't enjoy some active play and sports fun! Book a private session for a small group for an experience completely customized to you. Sessions can be booked for 45-60 minutes and will be held at a place of your choosing. If you have a favorite instructor, you can request them for the soccer party (depending on availability), and you choose the focus and level of instruction.
The Greens is yet another spot offering transparent cabins with views of the Brooklyn Bridge and East River. Expect cozy seating, a virtual fireplace, and classy decor inspired by ski lodges. Each cabin can accommodate 2-10 guests and features touchless mobile ordering from a menu of seasonal dishes.
Take your party indoors with a private party at the Children's Museum of Manhattan. Groups of up to 25 people can rent out the museum for an exclusive hour and 45 minutes. Guests will have full run of two exhibit floors, activity kits for children to use for the duration of their visit, and CMOM educator-led activities that will get kids moving, listening to stories, and doing art.
Give your kids an active birthday party at Chelsea Piers. Groups of up to 10 children ages 5 and up will be led through sports and other movement-centric activities by trained instructors. Party sessions last two hours and there are lots of options for food. Choose a sport or activity for the party to center around from a list that includes basketball, baseball, gymnastics, and ninja parkour.
You can have a party outdoors, indoors, or online. Outdoor parties are held in Prospect Park, indoor parties are held at their location in South Slope, and online parties are held in the comfort of your own home. They have game levels from beginners to experts, so no one has to worry about their skill level. Parents provide any desired decorations, cake, food, and drinks (depending on your party package).
How's this for thinking outside the box? Take a small group to the museum, checking out the Hall of Ocean Life, the Fossil Halls (home to the dinos), and more for the cost of regular admission. Or, spend a few more bucks and see a special exhibit. You must book tickets in advance to visit the museum.

14. TWA Hotel
Pool party in the middle of winter!? Why not! The TWA's heated rooftop pool is open to hotel guests this winter, and it's been transformed into an Alpine-themed retreat. Visitors can eat at the restaurant or sit at the bar and sip some hot apple cider as they watch airplanes take off below. Visit the pop-up museum exhibits, created in collaboration with the New York Historical Society, and go back in time through replicas of a 1962 living room and offices of Howard Hughes and Eero Saarinen.
You don't need to travel far to embark on an adventure. Treasure Trunk Theater, which fosters drama and imagination, is available to book for a birthday party of 30 minutes (with additional time on request), where up to 30 kids will enjoy fun activities that'll get their voices, bodies, and imaginations working. The Treasure Trunk Theatre instructor will lead kids on an adventure to magical lands using only common household items. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to join in, as well. Prices start at $300.
In just two hours, kids can weave their own tapestry to bring home, with instruction from Loop of the Loom! Private classes are very small—3-5, depending on the location you visit—and instruction will have kids working on their own looms within minutes.
Learn from our past mistakes: summer seems far away, but it’s coming up fast. Which means it’s time to start thinking about and looking at camps, if that’s part of your plan for keeping the kids busy. Not only do camps fill up, but booking early can also get you some discounts on price. The good news is, no matter what your kid is into, there’s a camp for it in NYC. Soccer and ice skating, arts and movie making, rock exploration and rock band performances—whether your child has a creative soul or is a bundle of energy, you’re sure to find something to love in this list. We only wish we could sign up for all of them!

And with many locations around the city, you can find a spot that's convenient for you. Camp Settoga
A day camp affiliated with the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, Camp Settoga operates on a lush 21-acre facility in Pamona, NY. (Kids are picked up by air-conditioned bus from areas throughout Manhattan, and it's about a 30-minute ride from the GW bridge.) It's a day camp with an overnight camp feel, with all the bells and whistles like pools, a rope course, elective activities, and more. New for the 2022 season are improvements like two new basketball courts, new tennis courts, a 12-hole mini-golf course and new amphitheater.

This Staten Island-based camp is a place where every child is nurtured and good friends are made. Campers are led by trained supervisors and staff through activities designed to build confidence and self-esteem. The campus is huge, and camp events include hikes, field trips, bowling, carnivals, and more. That's on top of everyday activities like swimming and water slides, various sports, yoga, fencing, a game and art space, and more.

There's so much to explore all around us, and Trailblazers camp makes it their mission to help kids discover the wonder around them. Campers will discover their environment through science experiments, challenges and games, team-building exercises, nature walks, art, and music. Kids will have outside time every day — as their website states, "there is no such thing as bad weather, just inadequate clothes!" The camp is built around kids' creativity and allows exploration and curiosity to take center stage.

The Riverdale Stables horse riding camp is returning for 2022, though details are still tbd. The stables have an indoor ring, 85 stalls, and access to trails in Van Cortlandt Park. A recreation room is on standby in case of bad weather and for additional activities like games and arts and crafts. This camp is open to riders who can already walk and trot with a horse and all riders have to be evaluated to attend. If your child isn't quite there yet, the stables also have classes that can help them get up to speed before the camp.

Does your child dream of being a rock star? At this camp, kids for bands of 6 (or fewer) members then learn, rehearse, and perform together! Bands will work on improving their instrumental or vocal skills, and on collaborating with each other. Kids will have a chance to play cover songs and even write their own original works. There's an option to add a private lesson before camp for an additional fee.

Manhattan School of Music
Kids at this camp will experience the world of instrumental music in a professional setting. Instruction is available in classical music, musical composition, jazz singing, musical theater, and more. Trained teachers and professionals will help bring out kids' talents and improve their skills on their instruments, voice, or acting. Attendees will also get crucial skills training, like audition techniques, musical theory, and more. Camp culminates with a fully produced performance (including sets and costumes for the musical theater crowd).
The extended deadline for this camp was January 31 but late applications are still being considered. This program has a mandatory covid vaccination policy.

NYC Guitar School
The NYC Guitar School summer camps are perfect for kids who are interested in making music and performing. Several options are available, including an intro camp for absolute beginners to guitar playing. The Rock Band camp is an intensive learning experience where kids will learn, practice, and perform for a live Facebook and YouTube audience. For a more in-depth experience, kids can spend two weeks working in a band, and get their songs professionally recorded at the end of all their hard work. If you prefer a remote option, the Guitar School is also hosting a virtual music production camp (for ages 12-17), which will teach teens how to record and produce their own work.

Rock on with at the Willie Mae Rock Studio, where campers can try their hand at songwriting and guitar playing, as well as the electronics and software used in music-making. You can choose between general camp and sports + swim camp at Kids in the Game. Both focus on physical activity and physical and mental growth. At the sports + swim camp, campers will receive lessons through Physique Swimming and learn how to swim correctly from experts. Camp will utilize the indoor gym, outdoor basketball court, baseball fields, playground, and on-site pool for a well-rounded and active experience. This half-day (three hour) cooking camp is perfectly adapted for different ages. The youngest kids (4-8 years old) will learn how to mix, measure, and work safely through cooking stories and games, 9 to 13-year-olds will learn more advanced cooking techniques, hone knife skills, learn how to read recipes and use the burner safely, and clean up after themselves, and 13 to 17-year-olds will be treated to adult-level skills and recipes, advanced knife skills, food styling, and recipe creation. Upon entering a Nory camp for the week, kids are given a quest. This might be a realistic one (how do you design a classroom that's easier to navigate for the blind?) or a more outlandish one (can you invent a robot that runs on "magic"?). Each camp week is then focused on learning about the topic, asking questions, and getting hands-on with various materials and skills from wiring RFID chips to woodworking. Winning and losing are a big part of American culture. Kidz Love Soccer offers an unconventional approach to sports based on sportsmanship, effort, learning and fun! Not interested in producing the next Lionel Messi or Mia Hamm, as their name suggests, Kids Love Soccer want their players to love and be good at sports. Kidz Love Soccer teaches the fundamentals of the game through imaginative play and age-appropriate curriculum. Bring your mess makers and creative kiddos to Minni, located in the SoWa Art & Design District. Classes are taught by professional artists and educators, and they offer classes for kids as young as 18 months. Each one mixes more than paint—we’re talking open-ended explorations that let kids explore, design and create. Classes are grouped by age (18 months-3 years, 3-6 years and 6-10). If music is your tot’s jam, immerse them in Groovy Baby Music’s music and movement classes. Designed for kiddos age newborn through five, classes are offered throughout the Boston area in every format you can think of: outside, inside and online. Help your kids practice mindfulness with a kid’s yoga class. This 13-week series, for kids ages 3-6, uses songs, movement and games to make yoga fun and easy. We’re sure you’ll see the fruit of the seeds that are planted here in other aspects of your kiddo’s life. And although the classes are truly engaging and dynamic, there’s ample time for toddler relaxation too.

Find wide-open spaces in the parks of Boston with this program that’s committed to getting kids and their caregivers outside (even in the middle of the city). The Child/Adult class, for kids age 2.5-5, clocks in at just under an hour and focus on what’s going on each season through games, songs, crafts and lots and lots of hands-on exploration. We know your kids will find this STEM-based curriculum exciting and engaging. Don’t forget the bug spray!

Many have cleaning protocols and safety measures posted online so you know what to expect. Also consider choosing a class that offers a free trial (or refunds registration) so you can check things out before committing. Asking your pediatrician or other healthcare professional never hurts either.

YMCA camps have everything that makes life easier for a parent: they're everywhere, they're affordable, and they keep kids busy for most of the day. Spring break camps include lots of unplugged time doing sports, arts and crafts and STEAM activities. Campers receive their very own set of materials and equipment. Ages vary by location (5 to 12, 8 to 10, etc.) and camps run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Super Soccer Stars is another option with spring break camps happening throughout the city, often outdoors. Camps are three hours, and are available for kids 3 to 12. Counselors work with socially-distanced groups of 4 to 8 kids to build skills and create a fun, team-oriented atmosphere.
The Long Island City spot for all-things-art has added a Brooklyn location in Cobble Hill. Flexibility is the name of the game here, with bookings by the hour, day and week available. Activities include, but are not limited to panting and drawing, textile art, mosaics, origami. See a full list of them here. The Chelsea Piers Field House is masked up and full of activity. Choose from gymnastics, multi-sport, ninja parkour and soccer camps. Camps are for kids ages 5 to 13, and operate March 22-26 or March 29- April 2. Hours are 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
The skate school is offering three-day camps for kids over spring break. On a nice day, they grab the boards and head to Prospect Park or a nearby park for an outdoor "sesh" and lunch, followed by an indoor sesh at SKATEYOGI's indoor space, which is equipped with H13 HEPA air filtering systems. Camps are for kids ages 7 to 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., March 29-31.
A camp for curious and creative kids who like solving problems, NORY's spring break camp will have kids programming a robot and building circuits and structures. With locations on the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Tribeca, Long Island City and downtown, NORY also operates camps from March 22-26, and March 29-April 2, to accommodate dates of different school's breaks.
Kids in the Game offers spring break camps on the Upper East Side, the Bronx and in the East Village. The East Village camp welcomes kids in pre-K to eighth grade, the other two serve kids in kindergarten to 8th grade. Early drop off at 8 a.m. is included in the price and some camps can be extended to 5 p.m. (from 2:45) for an extra $20. Days are packed with activities like sports, fitness games, Zumba and performing arts.

Treasure Trunk Theatre still has a few spots left in its outdoor Lion King camp in Brooklyn! Little ones ages 3-6 will explore all their favorite jungle animals through song, dance, arts and crafts and lots of imaginary play. The camps take place in Carroll Park in Carroll Gardens and at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6.
This spring break sewing camp for kids ages 6-12 combines the best parts of fashion and design. Limited to up to 6 campers, this "boutique" camp teaches students how to sew, design and style their own garments over five individual camp days. Projects and lessons change each day, with days running from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Each day breaks down into three classes with experienced instructors who work in the fashion industry. March 29-April 2.
Kids will sleep well after a day (or week!) of jumping all around Central Park. The Movement Creative meets up at Columbus Circle and sets out across the hills, rocks, benches and whatever else in the landscape. Camps are for kids ages 7 to 13 and take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 29 to April 2.
The Staten Island Zoo hosts Spring Zoofari for kids ages pre-K to third grade. Campers will explore different classes of animals, and every day will have a lesson, craft or art activity, animal presentation and more. Each child receives a Zoo T-shirt and water bottle as well. Camp is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from March 29- April 2.
This DUMBO art studio is offering arts camp for kids ages 5 to 8, and 9 to 16. Camps are available for half or full days and have kids exploring all kinds of art-making techniques including painting, sculpture, drawing and more. Camps run Mar. 24, 29-31, and April 1,2 & 7.
Parenting during summer 2020 isn’t for sissies, and parents need to get creative these days to figure out what to do with the kids. One solution is to “pod” with other families in an attempt to expand social contact and responsibility for kids, while also trying to limit COVID-19 exposure. And small group, private camps with the same kids—with multiple families splitting the cost—is another. Counselors and caregivers will come to you—your apartment, backyard, a nearby park—for a small camp created just for you, your kids and a couple friends. Choose from STEM, Sports or Showbiz camps, which run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a week. These mini camps are $725 for one child, with $15 for additional kids—parents are teaming up and splitting the cost, which makes this a relatively affordable option. Curated Care is operating at-home camps in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.
Childcare service Apiari has introduced a Summer Pod program, which enables families to hire a caregiver to lead themed enrichment activities for a small group of children (up to three kids). Examples include science, yoga, dance, music, ballet, musical theatre, sports and games, and you can create your own schedule by using different caregivers on different days. (Yoga on Monday, science on Tuesday, etc.) Create your pod, let Apiari know the number of kids and their interests, and Apiari will send you a list of caregivers in your area to choose from. Rates vary depending on a sitter's experience and the number of children in your pod, starting at $26/hour for one child, a fee that goes down to $12 per hour per kid for a summer pod of three kids. If you are splitting the cost of the pod with other families, Apiari can coordinate payment for you.

Soccer stars Alex Morgan and Servando Carrasco welcomed their first child. Morgan announced the birth of her daughter, Charlie Elena Carrasco, via social media. Charlie was born on May 7 at 11:30 a.m., weighing 8 pounds, 5 ounces.
“She made us wait longer than expected, but I should have known she would do it her way and her way only. My super moon baby,” Morgan wrote on Instagram.
