Sometimes you really just want a slice of cheesecake. Then you remember how long it takes to bake at home—but fighting the restaurant crowds for a slice also makes you shudder. Still, cheesecake sounds so good, preferably blended up with some ice cream. Here comes Sonic to the rescue with new Cheesecake Blasts!

The popular drive through chain is offering two new flavors in its Blast lineup, Cheesecake Blast and Strawberry Cheesecake Blast. Both swirl delicious cheesecake and graham cracker pieces with ice cream, and the strawberry cheesecake even has real pieces of fruit added in.

“From the rich, velvety flavor to the craveable crunch of the graham cracker, SONIC magically perfects the unmistakable experience of indulging in decadent cheesecake, with no fork or plate necessary,” said Scott Uehlein, vice president of product innovation and development for SONIC. “With high quality ingredients from start to finish, our guests can delight in the classic, or Strawberry Cheesecake Blast, to truly capture the delectable flavors of Summertime.”

One piece of bad news: the new blasts are only available for a limited time at participating Sonic drive ins, through June 27. Choose from a regular size with up to three flavors or supersize your sweet snack and order a Snow Cap. This jumbo dessert takes your basic shave ice and adds ice cream, sweetened condensed milk and Li Hing Mui (a salty, sweet, and sour plum powder that is sprinkled on top). Strawberry Cheesecake Snowboard Sandwiches

There are two layers in the middle, cheesecake flavored and strawberry flavored. The frozen confection is sandwiched between two vanilla wafers.

You can find the Strawberry Cheesecake Snowboard Sandwiches in boxes of six at Kroger. Each box  retails for just $1.99

There are other Snowboard Sandwiches varieties available at Kroger as well. Check out the vanilla, chocolate chip, Neapolitan and mini vanilla versions as well.
