Lindsay Lohan is a mom!

Huge congratulations are in order for Lindsay Lohan. The Parent Trap actress, 37, and her husband have welcomed their first child, a son named Luai. The actress’s rep confirmed the birth to PEOPLE with the following statement, “Lindsay Lohan and her Financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love.”

Baby Luai was born in Dubai, but the date of birth has not been confirmed. Lohan has kept her fans updated on the pregnancy since announcing the news in March.

Lohan made the surprise announcement on Instagram back in March when she posted a photo of a white onesie with “Coming soon…” written on it.

In the caption, Lohan wrote, “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼”

Lohan didn’t include any other details, so fans were left wondering when the baby is due, if she knew the sex yet, or even if Lohan was pregnant (or if she and Shammas enlisted a surrogate). But the comments on the post were filled with well wishes for the star.

“Awwww. Congrats you two!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Queer Eye‘s Bobby Berk. Ayesha Curry wrote, “🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰”

Even Freeform got in on the fun, writing, “fingers crossed for twins,” which, we couldn’t agree more.

Lohan and Shammas announced their engagement in November of last year. That news came after Lohan posted on Instagram referring to Shammas as her “husband” in a now-deleted caption.

“🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time,” she wrote at the time. “I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 💖🙏”

Nothing but the best wishes for these two as they begin this new journey. We can’t wait to see Lindsay as a mama.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ Star Brianne Howey Welcomes 1st Child

Brianne Howey is a mom! The Ginny & Georgia star and her husband, Matt Ziering, revealed on Instagram that they’ve welcomed their first baby together

Congratulations are in order for Brianne Howey and her husband Matt Ziering! The couple just became first-time parents—Howey revealed in an Instagram post that they’ve welcomed a new member to their family.

“My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller,” the 33-year-old Ginny & Georgia star captioned her post, which included a photo of her lying in a hospital bed and smiling widely while cradling her newborn against her chest. “Welcome my little love 💛”

Howey’s Ginny & Georgia co-stars were some of the first in the comments to congratulate her.

“OH MY GOD CONGRATULATIONS,” Antonia Gentry wrote.

Sara Waisglass added, “sobbing. congratulations mama!!!”

Even Diesel La Torraca stopped by with well-wishes, writing, “Our teeniest tiniest lil peach is HERE!!!! 🍑 😍✨ Love you Momma well done!!! ❤️”

Howey and Ziering tied the knot in July of 2021, after delaying their initial wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In March, they announced that they were expecting a baby by casually dropping a photo of Howey in a bodycon dress that showed off her full bump.

This isn’t even the only good news in Howey’s world—Ginny & Georgia, on the heels of a successful and well-received second season, has been renewed by Netflix for seasons 3 and 4! Looks like everything is falling into place for this peach, and we couldn’t be happier for her.

Da Brat Announces Pregnancy at 48: ‘I Didn’t Think It Was in the Cards for Me’

Rapper Da Brat and her wife, Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart, are expecting their first baby a year after tying the knot

2023 is clearly going to be an exciting year for Da Brat. The hit “Funkified” rapper and her wife, Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart, just revealed that they’re expecting their first baby together! And since Da Brat, at age 48, is pregnant, their story is already serving as an inspiration for women who dream of expanding their families, even as they get older.

“It’s been quite a journey,” Da Brat told People magazine. “There’s a lot of stuff we learned about women over the age of 40.”

The couple got married on Feb. 2 of last year, which means their exciting baby news comes just over a year after they tied the knot. Soon after their wedding, 41-year-old Harris-Dupart launched a new line of hair products for her company, Kaleidoscope, and joked, “We’re extending our family.”

“It started as a joke,” she explained. “But then we got a huge response. It was like, ‘Oh my God do we want to actually have kids, and if we do, girl, we better hurry up!'”

Harris-Dupart is already a mom of three kids from before she and Da Brat were together. And for Da Brat, well, kids weren’t really part of the plan until now.

“I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me,” she explained. “I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me.”

Sometimes, though, that’s just how it works out. And meeting Harris-Dupart changed a lot of things for Da Brat. “I started looking at life so differently. I was like, I want a little me with you. Something special from the both of us that we can share and raise and love unconditionally.”

The couple’s journey so far hasn’t been easy—they both suffered health problems during egg retrieval and implantation, and they had a miscarriage last year. “I had never been so excited about something that I didn’t even know I wanted,” Da Brat said. “I fell in love with the idea and then it was all snatched away from me.”

Now, though, she’s in her second trimester and excited for all the experiences that lie ahead. “It’s just a blessing,” she said. “I’m excited!”

Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Get Married in Vegas: ‘Best Night of Our Lives’

Say hello to Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck! Nearly 20 years after their first engagement ended, JLo and Ben Affleck have officially tied the knot. “We did it,” Jennifer wrote in her newsletter, On the JLo. “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.”

Engaged back in April, the couple shared via newsletter that they flew to Las Vegas on Sunday to make their rekindled romance a sure thing. “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey… all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

She wore a dress from a movie she did and Ben found a jacket from his closet to whip up the bridal party outfits. Ever the celebs, they made it to The Little White Wedding Chapel barely before midnight to say their vows.

“They even had Bluetooth for a (short) march down the aisle. But in the end it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible and one another) at very, very long last,” reads her newsletter.

With the kids as their witnesses, Bennifer finally tied the knot. Between the two of them, they share five children––a very different picture than when the pair were engaged 18 years ago. Lopez told PEOPLE back in February 2022, “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”

It seems the almost two decades has done the two of them good as they look to the future. “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for.”

Brittany & Patrick Mahomes Reveal Sex of 2nd Baby in Adorable Video

Sterling Skye is about to be a big sister! The daughter of parents Brittany and Patrick Mahomes just found out she will soon have a baby brother.

The NFL star and his wife hosted a reveal party this weekend with family and friends to share the sex of baby number two. The couple, who wed in March of 2022, announced they would be adding another member to the fam in May.

Both Brittany and Patrick shared a sweet video of the day’s events, which involved polling the guests on their guesses as to whether the baby would be a boy or girl. Patrick seemed pretty confident when he shared, “It’s a guaranteed boy.” The final reveal involved squirting white water guns onto a canvas: with blue dye!

After the announcement, the duo donned light blue sweatshirts with “Baby Mahomes Boy or Girl” across the front with “boy” circled. Sterling also wore a T-shirt with the same design.

To round out the day, the video also shows dad Patrick jumping into the pool with all his clothes on. We’re guessing he’s pretty happy!

Patrick and Brittany are high school sweethearts who got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot this year. Both 26, they have never shied away from the idea of more children.

In a Q&A session on Instagram back in April, someone asked when the Mahomes family would grow again. “Ok, y’all really out here wanting us to have another baby. We don’t exactly know yet! Y’all need to calm down,” says the fitness trainer.

It seems like the couple already had an inkling it might be sooner than later, announcing baby number two just a month later. No word yet on just when baby Mahomes will enter the world, but we’re guessing it’s sometime in early 2023.

Jennifer Lawrence Plans to Protect Her Baby’s Privacy for ‘the Rest of Their Life’

Jennifer Lawrence may be a new mom, but that hasn’t stopped her mama bear instinct from kicking in strong. The actress, who welcomed her first child this year with husband Cooke Maroney, has long since valued her privacy and she’s going to make sure her baby has the same.

Lawrence sat down with Vanity Fair in Nov. ’21, before her son was born and talked about what she had experienced so far in her pregnancy. “If I was at a dinner party and somebody was like, ‘Oh my god, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’ But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can,” she says.

Lawrence took quite some time off from Hollywood after the success of The Hunger Games, so she’s quite familiar with the precious notion of privacy. In regards to her son, she said “I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Lawrence and her husband tied the knot back in 2019 and revealed they were expecting in Sept. 2021 with few details. Despite giving birth in Feb. 2021, the news was not officially confirmed until the actress chatted with Ellen via phone during the talk show host’s final few episodes in May.

Even then, it was simply a matter of saying “thank you” when Ellen congratulated her on becoming a mom. Despite wanting all the deets about cute baby Lawrence-Maroney, we totally get the actress’s plight to keeping her son safe and free from the critical eyes of the public.

Jennifer Lawrence Confirms Birth of Her 1st Child on ‘Ellen’

JLaw is a mom! After a month of speculation, the actress finally confirmed to Ellen that her first child has arrived.

On a new episode of The Ellen Show, the host called up the new mom to say goodbye as her show wraps up its final season. Lawrence, 31, apparently used to pretend Ellen was interviewing her while sitting on the toilet, which the host hilariously references.

“Pretty much any time it was a number two—it was you!” Jennifer Lawrence joked. Amid the discussion of the bathroom, Ellen congratulates Lawrence on her new baby.

Not only that, Ellen reveals a fun fact the two ladies share: Lawrence lives in Ellen’s old home!

“Now I live next door to you, and I’m looking at you living in my house with a brand new baby,” DeGeneres said. “By the way, I do hear you sometimes talking to him, and it’s really cute.”

So apparently, it’s a boy! Having reportedly given birth back in February, this is the first time the public has learned that Lawrence and husband Cooke Maroney have welcomed a son.

The baby is the first child for the couple, who tied the knot back in 2019. Both Lawrence and Maroney are fiercely private so we don’t expect tons of photos and news about baby boy anytime soon.

Chris Hemsworth Reminds Twin Sons Who the Best Avenger Is in Adorable Instagram Post

Chris Hemsworth, who plays muscle-bound Thor—a founding member of the Avengers—has some feelings about his kids’ choice in superheroes. “If you’re asking if they’re allowed to wear any other super hero outfits besides Thor the answer is no,” Chris Hemsworth teased on Instagram, beneath an adorable image of his twins in Thor costumes. It’s not the first time he’s joked about their preferences.

Last year, he posted that one of his sons said that he wants to be a superhero when he grows up. In the image, Hemsworth (and some serious upper body musculature) holds hands with a child sporting a red cape. (Pssst: Thor doesn’t wear a red cape). Seems that his son has a thing for Superman. Dad seems cool with it, despite his menacing look at the camera. He clearly gets the irony, writing “Holding my little man’s hand and asking him the age old question. ‘What do you want to be when you grow up’ ‘Dad i wanna be Superman’ Lucky I have two other kids.”

Possibly the. best part of the online banter that ensued was when Hemsworth’s superhero pals, including Deadpool, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman, commented on the post. Deadpool‘s Josh Brolin replied, “Hahahaha,” while Ryan Reynolds added, “❤️😂❤️.” Wonder Woman‘s Gal Gadot also dropped a laughing emoji and Aquaman‘s Jason Momoa shared that he had a similar experience with his own son Wolf. “😂😂😂😂😂😂yeah wolf wanted to be batman ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

And while Chris Hemsworth may play a superhero on the screen, he seems to think that his wife Elsa Pataky is a real one. The actor and the model tied the knot in 2010 after less than a year of dating, and welcomed daughter, India, in May 2012. Twin boys Tristan and Sasha followed in March 2014. Hemsworth told WHO magazine “Once we had kids we were like, ‘We’re in it, this is it.’ All of a sudden I had a greater appreciation for my wife, she kind of came into her own when we had kids… She certainly keeps me sane. I complain about things, she gets on with it.”

And he’s also acutely aware of the thief that time is, when it comes to raising children. “I’ve spent probably 15 years in what felt like a marathon, a constant workload,” he told GQ Australia during the pandemic. “So much of my energy has been geared toward that, and then having kids at the same time, I’ve been constantly trying to find the balance. … For a little while, you don’t think the kids notice and then you realize they do.”

The dad of three continued “I absolutely want to continue to make films that I’m proud of, but that can also wait. Now what’s more important is my kids are at an age I don’t want to miss. And I’d hate to look back in 20 years and go, ‘Right, let’s get to work as a parent,’ and I’ve missed it all.”

Another Silver Lining for Jennifer Lawrence: Baby on the Way!

J-Law is pregnant! One of the most popular stars of the last decade is expecting with husband Cooke Maroney. The couple tied the knot in October 2019, and their latest round of happy news comes almost exactly two years later.

Lawrence keeps private on social media, but her representative confirmed the news first to People Magazine. She’s been linked to Maroney, an art dealer, since 2018, and this will be their first child together. Maroney also keeps a low profile on social media, with a private Instagram account.

The world’s highest-paid actress in 2015 and 2016, Lawrence has starred in a multitude of popular movies, including The Hunger Games series, Silver Linings Playbook and X-Men. She’ll appear next in Don’t Look Up, a science-fiction blockbuster film that’s packed with star power and set to premiere in December.

It sounds like the couple will be fantastic parents since Lawrence called Maroney “the greatest human being I’ve ever met” in a podcast interview with Catt Sadler in 2019. No due date has been announced yet, but we can’t wait for more details on the new addition!
