Nostalgia alert! One of your fave flicks from the ’90s is coming back—to Netflix, that is. The streaming service recently announced the epic coming-of-age film Now and Then will make it’s debut in August.

In case you haven’t watched the 1995 friend-filled film in 24 years or so, it focuses on four childhood friends, not so surprisingly, now and then. With, of course, then being a memory-making 1970 summer.

With a lineup of well-known actresses (both as the young and older versions of each character), Now and Then starred a young Christina Ricci, Thora Birch, Gaby Hoffman and Ashleigh Moore along with their adult counterparts Rosie O’Donnell, Melanie Griffith, Demi Moore and Rita Wilson.

The beloved tween-to-adult flick was almost a small screen series back in 2015. Now and Then writer, Marlene King, told Entertainment Weekly, “It was on ABC Family but they wanted to change it so the ‘now’ was present day and the ‘then’ would be the ‘90s.” King continued, “I didn’t want to do that—I felt that kind of ruins how special the movie is.… To me, there will never be a 1970s again, so to try to set it in the ‘90s when we had cell phones and things like that, I don’t think it would work.”

So for now, and then, we’ll all have to wait and watch the memorable movie on Netflix—starting Aug. 1!
