From over-the-top waffles to funky ice cream flavors to a life-changing burger, flip ahead for some of the best meals on wheels in NYC.

Best for Local Ingredients: Snowday

This Brooklyn based food truck serves maple syrup-themed foods. All of the ingredients are sourced from local farms. The food is sensational, but there’s an even better reason to visit the truck – you’ll be supporting a good cause. The truck is run by Drive Change, an organization that offers training and employment to formerly incarcerated youths. Each purchase goes toward the Drive Change program. What to order? Try their maple-infused grilled cheese, maple-glazed brussel sprouts or deep fried smoked ribs. With all ingredients provided by local farmers, you’re in for a true farm-to-truck experience.
