One of the best things about being a parent in NYC is the dizzying number of options of all things kid-related. This is never more true than when it comes to “Mommy & Me” classes. Even if the idea of sitting around in a circle and singing with other parents and kids makes you cringe (you’re not alone, by the way), there is a class out there you will actually enjoy. (Your kid?: They’ll love it.) We’ve rounded up more than a dozen classes to take with your tot, from tummy time to sign language to all kinds of music to get you and the kid movin’ and groovin’. For A Queens Classic: Mommy, Music & Me

Utilizing the Music Together program, a pioneer in early childhood music and movement education, Wendy DeAngelis’ Mommy, Music & Me, offers classes for children from birth through kindergarten. The Music Together program is guided by the love and respect of children, music, play, and family. A big player in Queens, Mommy, Music, & Me, Inc. has provided an endless number of CDs and songbooks to families throughout the borough for more than 10 years.

Be in the Know: Babies under eight months of age attend free with a registered sibling.

Ages:6 months – 5 years

Cost: Summer: $170.00 for the first child and $115.00 for first additional sibling, $50.00 second additional sibling.
