the scoop:

On the weekend before Valentine’s Day, celebrate your love of Central Park’s sculptures at the sixth annual Ice Festival. The talented ice sculptors of Okamoto Studio will have their electric chain saws, chisels and picks ready in Central Park to transform more than 6,000 pounds of ice into a replica of the Park’s Romeo and Juliet statue. This Valentine’s Day themed event includes an evening Silent Disco (you wear headphones to hear the music) as night falls. Food trucks and treats will be on location to fill hungry tummies with delicious treats.
