Children’s Museum of the Arts

Children’s Museum of the Arts introduces children and families to world-class contemporary art exhibitions and art-making workshops. CMA offers an expansive selection of online programming for children and families, which allows the museum to serve its community in New York City, as well as a broader audience of children from around the world.

CMA Live! brings the Museum’s renowned programming into your own home with interactive live sessions taking place over Zoom. Children can participate in sing-alongs, create their own artworks, explore creative movement and dance, learn the art of theater, and much more. Through a weekly, immersive After School art class held via Zoom, children develop a portfolio of work that explores a range of materials and art-making techniques. During Summer Art Camps, campers enjoy a half-day of creative and social engagement culminating in final projects to be shared with family and friends. Art Pods and Private Lessons offer one-on-one or small-group mentorship with a CMA Teaching Artist to learn new skills, work on a special project, or fulfill a portfolio requirement.
