Eating well never tasted so good. New to Forest Hills, Queens is Heartbeet Eatery, a kosher and vegan restaurant that has heart. It also has a menu filled with everything from pizza to sushi. Plus, a kids’ menu of mac ‘n’ cheese and spaghetti with or without meatballs. It’s cozy and has a real neighborhood feel. In fact, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, chances are they’ll remember your name by your second visit. And you will want to return – if not for the pizzas and pastas, for the decadent and delicious Philly cheesesteak. If you don’t live in Queens, this little gem is definitely worth the trek.
