Deli-cious Dinner

For the kosher cook in search of shortcuts, look no further than Ben’s Best, one of the last delis of its kind in the city. The 70-year-old establishment in Rego Park is offering a holiday feast that includes the turkey with a rich giblet gravy as well as some unique sides like candied sweet potato, stuffed cabbage in a raisin tomato sauce and string bean almandine.  While not certified kosher, Bklyn Larder caters to many of the Jewish holidays and for $130, is offering a fully-cooked Turkey roulade where the bird is deboned, brined, rolled and slow-roasted — creating a dish with plenty of flavor and no carcass to dispose of. Try their green bean casserole, giblet gravy, or cauliflower gratin or go for their made-from-scratch pumpkin, pecan and apple pies. Pick up is at their Brooklyn location.
