As we begin to thaw out from winter’s unrelenting brutality (hopefully!), there are six terrific concerts for you to enjoy alongside your kids featuring a mix of local and out-of-town bands, and one brilliant evening of youthful song and discussion with a pair of musical heavyweights for you to have fun sans children.

The Pop Ups

When: Sun., Mar. 30, 11:30 a.m.

Where: The Jewish Museum, 1109 5th Ave., Upper East Side

Cost: $18/adults, $13/kids

The Grammy nominated Brooklyn electro-pop duo are nearly ready to serve up their third album, which, if history holds true, means the end is near for hearing Pop Up classics live in concert. This is because the band develops a new theatrical show with a new narrative theme after each CD is released. In short: go hear Math Rock, The Bat, and the dynamite closer, Box of Crayons, one more time!

It’s another month of awesome concerts; will you be attending any with your little rock stars?
