A bouquet of beautiful concerts are in full bloom this month, including the record release party for The Walkmen’s Walter Martin, who will debut his first kindie album We’re All Young Together; the rarest of treats as Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem bring their air-tight roots rock to the city for a special free show in the Bronx, and the return of a native songwriting son whose name you’ll probably recognize. Mill's Trills is one of the city's most entertaining live bands, thanks to the front-woman firecracker Amelia Robinson, and features a highly interactive experience for kids of all ages with punchy original songs that oscillate between lively Americana and authentic New Orleans jazz. Catch the fun show twice this month as Mill's Trills will also be joining The Story Pirates at the annual Madison Square Park Spring Kids Fest on May 17.
