We get it, Brooklyn. You’ve got a lot going on. So much so that it’s hard to keep up with all the kid-friendly places for jumping and climbing, getting mucky with paints and clay, quiet reading, shopping for some rainbow bling or filling empty tummies with something delicious. But we try! Click through for 9 fresh places just in Brownstone Brooklyn alone.
For a Multi-colored Taste Sensation: The Bagel Store
They're twisted and neon and they're coming to Park Slope - the beloved Rainbow Bagel born in Williamsburg over 15 years ago and regularly shipped worldwide can now be picked up at a new store on 5th Avenue. Creator, Scot Rossillo, is the king of hybrid food products including "The Bacon, Egg and Cheddar Bagel" as well as the "Cragel" (half bagel, half croissant) but even for the pickiest of eaters the Rainbow Bagel will be hard to refuse. Ordered with optional funfetti and cream cheese, the flavor is Fruit Loops meets Rainbow Sprinkles. (Opening end of June.)
