Jane’s Carousel

This DUMBO carousel is named after artist Jane Walentas, who rescued and restored the carousel — a project that began in 1984. (You can read the incredible story of the carousel's preservation here.)

Give it a Birthday Whirl:
Two hour parties can be booked on weekdays and weekends for $325 and $375, respectively. This includes unlimited rides and a keepsake ticket for all 10 guests. Parents are welcome to bring decorations and outside food and drinks. Picnic tables and benches are available for use in the warmer months, and an indoor seating area is available in the colder months — or on the event of rain. It's worth mentioning that there is no vehicle access so everything will have to be carried to and from the nearest drop-off point, which is about a block away. (Although nearby pizza places will deliver right to the carousel.)
