Peeps Brand Presents Dinosaur Eggstravaganza
Dinosaur Safari is back at the Bronx Zoo and this weekend also includes an egg-citing scavenger hunt. Graphic dinosaur “eggs” will be carefully hidden around the Zoo’s exhibits for little hunters to find. Sat. & Sun., 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Bronx. Free with Zoo admission. All ages. Event details.

Freedom Art Jam Party for Passover
The Baby Loves Disco DJs are headed to The Jewish Museum for an awesome art and dance party for Passover. Easter Parade & Bonnet Festival
Celebrate Easter with one of the city’s most spectacular parades, or shall we say, parade spectacles. Parade marchers will be wearing the most festive, outrageous and downright amazing bonnets you’ve ever seen. The pageant has been a NYC tradition since the 1870s. Drop-in Art at City Treehouse
Looking for a crafty option? Head to City Treehouse where you can play around on the water table before you head downstairs for easy art projects in the studio with Petol. Seucy and Boto, Stories from teh Amazon Jungle Puppet Show
All the creatures in these mythological stories from the Amazon Jungle protect plants and animals of the rainforest from harm and exploitation, in this dance puppet show. Help Garden at Lefferts Historic House
Help prepare the potato plot for planting at the Lefferts Historic House. Kids can get their hands dirty as they help rotate and sift compost and spread it throughout the plot to enrich the soil. They’ll also get to make a small plot out of newspaper that they will fill with soil and a seed to take home. Sat. & Sun., 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Prospect Park. $3 suggested donation.
