From Mamapalooza to the Madison Square Park’s Spring Kids Fest and one-of-a-kind events like Touch-a-Truck and the Bronx Zoo’s first-ever Birdathon, this weekend is full of fun for families. Bronx Zoo Birdathon
Compete for fun and prizes with the whole family in the first-ever Bronx Zoo Birdathon. You’ll start your bird hunt 1.5 hours before the zoo opens to the public and learn about bird-watching and conservation from local experts. Mamapalooza
Don’t miss the 11th Annual Outdoor Extravaganza at Summer on the Hudson Riverside Park South. Interactive Nature Fair

Spring Kids Fest in Madison Square Park
Kick off a season of free fun at the park with an awesome free festival. The main stage will feature performances by Mil’s Trills, Story Pirates and Field Station: Dinosaurs. Children’s Festival to Celebrate Hawaii
Celebrate the culture, traditions and values of Native Hawaii at this special children’s festival. Touch-a-Truck in Park Slope
Got kids who loves all things that go? Give them a chance to see more than 25 cool vehicles first hand at PS 295. They’ll get to sit in, climb on, marval at and yes, touch all kinds of automobiles from including a tow truck, a FDNY fire engine, the Green-Wood Cemetery Trolly, a concrete mixer and more. New this year – mini cars, construction trucks, a puppet show from the NYC Parks Department Performance Truck and the Ft. Hamilton Army Reserve Humvee. But that’s not all – you can have a snack from a food truck, jump in the bouncy house and make a craft! Sat., 12 p.m.-5 p.m. Park Slope. $5, infants under 6 months free. All ages. Event details.
