Elephant and Piggie Meet-and-Greet
Be on the lookout for Elephant and Piggie! These spirited Mo Willems characters will be roaming the N-YHS galleries all afternoon long and happy to pose for a photo with their biggest little fans. Discover your inner (and outer) super hero with a little help from a team of expert Super Stylists from performance art ensemble Calling All Parties. Your kiddos will be whisked off to a press conference where, together with their Super Hero Team, they will be awarded the Key to the High Line and invited to pose for the paparazzi. Careful, though! The ever-vigilant Super Heroes must always be on the lookout for Super Evil Villains. The High Line is throwing a welcome spring party all day, so after your super hero duties are complete, stroll this cool park enjoying live music, storytelling, dance and more. Sat. Bring Your Appetite to the Big Cheesy
Our mouths are watering as we write about this delicious event. NYC’s only annual grilled cheese championship is a two-day weekend event to determine the King of Comfort Food. Your ticket gets you in for an hour window during which time you’ll get to taste five different sandwiches and wash them down with two complimentary Goose Island drafts. Party at Dumbo Family Fest
This is one fun-filled party, all taking place on the Brooklyn waterfront. St. George Day
This all-volunteer community festival celebrating Earth Day and the arts is a veritable explosion of music, dance, art, puppetry, and more. This event is going to be a tasty and firery one so be sure to bring your appetites!
