Spring festivals are in full swing this weekend and you may want to hit a few favorites like the Brooklyn Botanical Garden’s Cherry Blossom Festival and the Puppetry Arts Park Slope Family Festival. You can also get all of your kid’s spring fever energy out at a day of street games in the park, a 5k family run at the Bronx Zoo and more. Read on for the full scoop.

Play Games in the Street
NYC Parks and Disney are teaming up for a fun day of Street Games in Harlem’s Thomas Jefferson Park. Join in the fun and play classics like stickball and hopscotch, see a soap box derby, learn to ride a bike, join in on relay races and skateboarding clinics, or try a pogo stick or hula hoop. Run for the Wild at the Bronx Zoo
The whole family can run this 5K fun race through the Bronx Zoo past the exhibits and animals. Get Your Yoga On at a Free Super Yogis Class
Bring your kids to this fun, inspiring, creative and educational Super Yogis Class with Rina Jakubowicz, founder of the Super Yogis Schoolhouse. Play & Eat at the Tribeca Family Film Festival Street Fair
This street fair is like no other. Step into the Tribeca Studios backlot green screen scene for a filmmaking experience, play video games, fly a kite, create life-size bubbles in the Bubble Garden, dance to live music, create arts and crafts, see live chef demos from local restaurants, indulge in the Tribeca Food Feast of local fare, shop the neighborhoods stores and more. Sat., 10 a.m. Tribeca. See Puppets at the Park Slope Family Festival
This festival is all about the kids! Puppetry Arts presents the Park Slope Family Festival featuring live musics, juggle shows, Star Wars characters, meet ‘n’ greet puppets, puppet making crafts and more. While you can peruse the event for free, a few dollars will get your kiddo some bounce house time, a t-shirt to design, hot dogs and snacks, crafts and activities. Sun. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Park Slope. Attend the Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Festival
Celebrate traditional and contemporary Japanese culture at this Brooklyn Botanic Garden Festival. Watch top taiko drummers and taiko drummers and participate in a family workshop to learn a few skills of your own. Watch bonsai artists work their magic. Kids can learn the art of manga drawing. Celebrate Trees Queens Botanical Garden Arbor Fest
The QBG’s 4th Annual Arbor Festival is sure to be a fun-filled day for all.
