Wizard School Scavenger Hunt for Harry Potter Fans
Join Watson Adventures on a magical adventure through the museum. Young wizards will enjoy a trip to the Metropolitan Museum, in search of art that echoes characters and enchanted objects in the Harry Potter books. You’ll track down serpents, Dumbledore look-alikes, and figures as scary as any Death Eater. This hunt references the books to provide a bridge to many wonderful works of art. Sat. Event details

Watch Big Hero 6 Aboard the Intrepid
There aren’t many opportunities to watch a movie under the stars aboard a real life air craft carrier, so take advantage of this! Climb on board the Intrepid Museum to watch Big Hero 6 with the fam. You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Adoptapalooza in the Park
Sure if you go to the park any given morning you’ll see a lot of happy dogs roaming around it, but at this event, more than 150 lovable dogs and cats will be hanging in the park ready to meet their new families. If you’re thinking about a furry addition to your fam (or you just want to hang with some four-legged friends for the day) this is the place to be. The Alliance for NYC’s Animals is putting on the event and will feature pets from dozens of different rescue organizations. While you’re there, register your dog for a license, get a free microchip for your pet and learn all sorts of safety tips to keep your buddies healthy and happy. Dragon Boat Festival
What could be more fun than a boat race? How about one where the boats are designed like red and gold dragons? Take to the Streets!
Roam nearly seven miles of streets from the Brooklyn Bridge all the way to Central Park without a car in sight. This is part bike tour, part walking tour, part block party and total fun.
