Culinary Kids Food Week at NYBG
The Garden’s Edible Academy Initiative has been hosting a festival for pint-sized foodies all week long and this weekend is your last chance to enjoy all of the cooking demos, recipes, hands-on activities, music and tastings. Tap your toes and sing along with farm and kitchen folksongs, put on a chef’s jacket and cook in the kitchen play space, go on a tropical treasure hunt for edible fruits and plants, and more. Celebrate the Himalayan New Year
It’s an afternoon of art, crafts, food, and music to celebrate Losar, the Himalayan New Year at the Rubin Museum of Art! Watch as a master artist creates a sand mandala, contribute to a giant collaborative mandala, construct colorful butter sculptures, and sip Himalayan butter tea.
