Pack a Sleeping Bag for a Night at the Museum
Take your little ones on an adventure just like they’ve seen in the movies. This sleepover at the American Museum of Natural History is worth the splurge. When the doors close and the lights dim for the night, you will just be beginning your adventure. Use flashlights to make your way through exhibits, visit T. rex, watch a 3-D movie and sleep under the giant blue whale. Evening snacks and a light breakfast will be served. No matter what the weather forecast says, grab your snowsuits because today is going to be a snow day. Central Park will be making they’re very own snow for this winter sports festival. Learn to ski, snowboard, go snowshoeing or sledding, play some arctic golf, and snack on delicious food at the the Taste NY Winter Market. Sat. Event details

Cruise Over to the New York Boat Show
Do your little one’s love boats? If the answer is yes, we’ve got just the way for your to spend your weekend. Swing by the boat show to see everything from yachts and cruisers to bass and pontoon boats, from canoes and kayaks to fishing boats and personal watercraft. Not only can they check out all these cool aquatic rides, but your kiddos can also hop behind the wheel of a virtual boat and take a spin and build a nautical masterpiece at the Kids’ Create-A-Boat exhibit. Fri.-Sun. Party at the Winter Carnival
Bundle up to celebrate winter in Bryant Park at their annual Winter Carnival. You and your tiny tots can enjoy ice skating, a silent disco, outdoor games, live music, a photo booth and a super cool ice castle made of translucent EverBlocks. Chinese New Year’s Day Firecracker Festival
This one isn’t for the youngest of babies, but if your little one is ok with loud noises, the view is spectacular. 600,000 (yes, that’s six hundred thousand) rounds of firecrackers will go off to celebrate the New Year. Expect lots of live entertainment and delicious food too! Sat. Event details
