Spring is just a week away – can you believe the snow may finally be over? Start the celebration with a seed planting family day at the Queens Botanical Garden or craft a rainbow at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. The weekend’s lineup also includes a puppet making workshop, a dance party, Charlotte’s Web on stage, a Passover party and more.

Arbor Festival Sunday, April 28, 11am to 6pm Fee: Free with Garden Admission It is a fun-filled day at QBG’s annual Arbor Festival.  Come enjoy a variety of activities for all ages, including a petting zoo, arts and crafts, old-fashioned games, live music, Hiccups the Clown and facepainting, workshops, garden tours, bird walks, food and craft vendors, consultations with tree and compost experts, and a beer tasting tent!

Design a Bunraku Puppet & Story
This workshop, in conjunction with the “Hello From Japan” exhibit, teaches kids to design their own mechanical puppet. Get Craft at a Free Arts Festival

See Charlotte’s Web On Stage

Party at Mama Doni’s Passover Palooza
To help get into the Passover spirit, Mama Doni and her band will perform special Passover tunes such as “Mission Immatzoble” and “Disco Dayeinu.” You’ll also tour the Streit’s Matzo Factory where you’ll see Passover matzos being made. You can also count on lots of Passover Prize Breaks where you’ll get prizes for answering Passover questions. Sun., 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Lower East Side. Free. Ages 2 and older. Event details.

Dance at a Kids EDM Party
Cielo welcomes kids into the club for this daytime party. Enjoy dancing, DJs, live performances including the LED ROBOT, dance and DJ lessons and a nightclub environment safely with your kids at CirKiz. Glow sticks welcome.
