On a Wing: Family Festival
Celebrate the bird migration season at this annual festival. Meet live bats, butterflies, and birds of prey, some of which call Central Park their home. Look for migrating warblers and other songbirds at a Birding Basics for Families Walk and learn how essential these winged beings are to the ecosystem. Then borrow a Discovery Kit and create your own Central Park adventure, exploring how the Conservancy’s work has made the Park a sanctuary for birds, bats, and butterflies. Sat. Big Swim Big Kick
Make a splash and have a ball at Asphalt Green’s first-ever Big Swim Big Kick, a fun-filled day of organized swim races and soccer-based competition. Swimmers get to dive off the blocks into the Olympic-sized pool and race to the finish, while outdoor athletes compete in a variety of soccer activities on the big field. Your little all-stars will even receives a medal, t-shirt, and other goodies. Sat. 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Upper East Side. Free. Ages 6-10. Event details


A Tasty Mother’s Day Tea
Moms are the best! What better way to celebrate this special holiday than with a Tea Party for Moms and their Budding Chefs. You and your little ones will make melt-in-your-mouth Blueberry Scones that are drenched in a perky Lemon Glaze and brew a refreshing Sun Tea. Where the Wild Things Are
Sail along with Max to the land of the Wild Things! This award-winning production is an intimate “guided play” experience. Adapted from the beloved children’s book, Max’s bedroom comes alive during the performance, transforming into the various landscapes of his adventure with the help of the audience. Mom and Daughter Goddess Tea Party
Enjoy a delightfully enchanting tea party with magical elixirs. Make a beautiful crown from fresh flowers, play dress up, and paint your nails with sparkles. The Great Inflatable Race

Be Amazed at the Universoul Circus

Mother’s Day Weekend Garden Party
Celebrate Mom among the flowers with live music, games, and picnicking. Enjoy story time, Mother’s Day card making, mini-golf, and live music.
