Picnic at a Mother’s Day Weekend Garden Party
The New York Botanical Garden has a full lineup of family fun for Mother’s Day weekend. See live music, enjoy a big bubble show, have a picnic on Daffodil Hill, play games like badminton and croquet, enjoy food truck vendors, make giant chalk drawings and crafts with your kids and more. Sing Along with Dan Zanes (and More!)
Celebrate the launch of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts’ expanded family programming which aims to make the arts accessible to all families. Activities and entertainment will include a 45-minute campfire-style singalong with acclaimed children’s performer Dan Zanes at the Revson Fountain, a scavenger hunt so children can explore the campus, crafts, LC Kids giveaways and additional performances in Josie Robertson Plaza. Catch the Land of Nod Bookmobile
The Land of Nod has turned it’s widely popular tour bus into a bookmobile, packed with tons of classic Little Golden Books and featuring story time, crafts, shopping and more. For every book purchased, Random House will donate one to Milk+Bookies, a nationwide charitable organization that gets books into the hands of thousands of children each year. Come sing, dance, and act out stories with The Good Ms Padgett!
