It happens every year. You start January with big resolutions, intentions and goals, but before you know it you’re back to your old routines. Lather, rinse, repeat. Motherhood will do that to you, eh? This year, we say, “enough!” Join Red Tricycle in committing to make 2014 the year you actually do all of the things in the city you talk about doing. You know what we mean – the things your friends ask you about when they say, “you’re so lucky to live in New York! Do you go to a show/museum/hot restaurant every weekend?” Resolve to do these ten New York City adventures in 2014, and make this year count!

Get Cultured

With 126 amazing museums, New York is behind only London (162) and Berlin (140) in count.  How many have you been to? Hmmm, we thought so! Make 2014 your year to take advantage of the adventurous artists at BAM, free Fridays at MOMA, the New Museum’s curious exhibits, and Chelsea’s Art Walk.

Need more inspiration? Check out eight art exhibits showing now that both you and your kids will love, or schedule a stroller walking tour of an NYC museum or art gallery.

What NYC family adventure do you resolve to go on in 2014?
