For Puppets That Come to You: CityParks PuppetMobile

In the summer and fall, the magic of the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre hits the road via the CityParks PuppetMobile. The PuppetMobile travels throughout the five boroughs stopping in parks, playgrounds and rec centers to perform. Beyond professional marionette performances, puppet making workshops are offered to teach kids about the craft and give them the opportunity to make their own hand-powered friend. This year’s production is the PuppetMobile original, Cinderella
Samba
, a twist on the classic fairy tale.
