FIGMENT 2013 Interactive Sculpture Garden

A variety of innovative, unique and interactive sculptures are on Governors Island thanks to the FIGMENT Festival. Big plus for kids: this is art you can "play" with rather than look at. Highlights include Head in the Clouds, made from 53,000 recycled milk jugs and water bottles; Reverberate, an interactive soundscape playground (shown above); an amazing sustainably designed TreeHouse  you are free to climb into; and Music Boxa giant music box that you can crank to hear music.
