the scoop:
Got kids who loves all things that go? Give them a chance to see more than 25 cool vehicles first hand at PS 295. They’ll get to sit in, climb on, marval at and yes, touch all kinds of automobiles from including a tow truck, a FDNY fire engine, the Green-Wood Cemetery Trolly, a concrete mixer, an ambulance, a DSNY garbage truck and more. Drivers and operators will be on hand to explain what they do and why they’re important to the community. New this year – mini cars, construction trucks, a puppet show from the NYC Parks Department Performance Truck and the Ft. Hamilton Army Reserve Humvee. But that’s not all – you can have a snack from a food truck, jump in the bouncy house and make a craft!
