We presume that part of the reason you live, and chose to raise your family in New York City is this town’s history and character. And while we at Red Tri NYC HQ don’t think all change is bad, some of our favorite spots around the city are feeling more and more like endangered species. Jeremiah Moss, author of Vanishing New York: How a Great City Lost Its Soul (in stores July 25), has been chronicling the demise of classic NYC spots for years. We asked him to round up some top “Vanishing New York” spots for kids and families. Click through to see some of his picks—and catch them while you can!
